This weekend I picked up my 2007 3.2 DSG A3 S-Line Sportback, and haven’t stopped smiling!! :arco:

The car is fantastic! So quiet and refined but so quick with it! I keep thinking I’m doing about 80mph and look down and I’m doing 110mph! It feel really stable and planted with the quatro as well!

Its pretty much got everything, full leather, heated everything, and parking sensors plus lots more!

I've already got my S3 pedals to fit and I’m on the lookout for a FBMFSW and RNS-E, and ambient lighting parts.

I'm of out for a blast in the dark now, loving the xenon’s!

:blackrs4:

There seem to be more and more 3.2's turning up on the site now!

RNS-E well worth the effort at well :)

get some pics up i keep trying to get some on but cant manage to do it its doin my nut in

I’m on the lookout for a FBMFSW and RNS-E,

Have a look in the classifieds / ICE section - there's a guy selling an RNS-E for £450 - still available and a bargain at that price.

I've just picked one up for £500, but would've taken that one for £450 if I'd have known about it!

Yep, already got in touch! Thanks.

Waiting for a sunny day for the pics :salute:

Anyone remapped the 3.2 then?

I think pete's is re-mapped.

I was thinking of it but haven't heard to many reviews. Think its more throttle responce that you gain rather than more power.

Yeah mine was re-mapped before I bought it. I gives another 15bhp apparently, and does improve throttle response and can help a fair bit with fuel consumption.

I've never been out in a 3.2 without a map so can't really tell you how different it feels, but mine goes pretty well!

My map is Custom Code, but if I was spending my own cash, I'd give the lads at AMD in Essex a shout, as heard nothing but good things about their maps, and I'd trust those guys a lot more than most.

I was thinking it was a little sharp on the throttle responce already!! Maybe its the DSG, and just getting used to it.

Where do you guys store your handbooks etc, the glovebox is tiny!

Humm, better fuel consumption you say, could do with some of that. I've down at 18mpg avarage at the moment!

I'll check out AMD...

Thanks

The doorcard :)

There is a recess in there that takes it perfectly. (at the back of the doorcard i.e right handside of the drivers door)

Fuel wise i get about 27mpg average. Low 20's round town and 30ish on a run :)

Tried that but it just slides about under braking etc! Saying that, i tried the other side, does the drivers side have a recess?

My driving is mostly start stop and country lanes - not great for fuel - I'm averaging about 23mpg at the moment, which is still about 6mpg better than my stupid Passat did!

I did get nearer 30mpg on the motorway after picking up my A3 though which I thought was pretty good considering the size of engine.

Thats not bad at all, next fill up i'm going to drive a bit more normal and see what i can get.

:D

There is a lip on the drivers (not sure about passenger) once you push in into that space it wont move about :)

What fuel are you guys putting in, out of interest?

p.s glad that worked!

I always run 97+ RON.

Remaps tend to be designed to take this into account, and it can't do the car or fuel consumption any harm.

Yeah agreed.

To be fair i,ve used both and haven't really noticed any difference!

I was told by the audi dealer (and the handbook) to run it on super but I've been running round on normal and it seems fine. I think i'll try super to see if i can get some more MPG.

Forgot to add yes i get slightly better mpg running super. Although i think it equals out as its more costly!
