Black Edition

Mine was ment to arrive today at our dealership but it didn't. So hopefully it eill be tomorrow and I will get some pics up:w00t:
 
Right the car is in the compound. Its getting PDI'd this week. Did take a few pics but it had all the delivery protection on it so not worth posting, just wont do it justice. Have to say it looks very nice. Dont worry I will get pics up this week.

I have finally managed to take some pics of my Black edition. It was in the workshop today for PDI and I took a few quick shots. Quality not great and the car not clean, but hey you can get to see some real life pics.:laugh:

looking good! i was gonna go for the black edition but due to cost opted for a black sport sportback instead but went for the black optics grille and privacy glass!

Look forward to seeing more pics!
 
At last, real pics, looks good mate.

I've asked the Audi dealer to put an S-line grill badge on mine, fingers crossed they do as I am hopeless with that kind of thing !

Post some more pics up when you get it cleaned up and in the daylight...please !

I'm about to order the Black edition sportback, I have the new 18" S3 alloys on order also, however I want to upgrade the grille to the same as the S3 and modify with a sline badge..Has anyone tried putting the S3 grille on the new A3? the standard A3 front looks poor with out the Sline badge. WILL IT FIT? I cant get an answer from anyone... also is the privay glass to much? can you order without?

Theres a post kicking about which shows the s3 grille on a facelift a3, will try and find it, personally i would keep the tints on the windows!

Did you order your wheels from audi and what did they cost u?
 
Hi, im sure the S3 grille will fit but not too sure about the S-line badge as they dont list it on ETKA on the 09 A3. The privacy glass looks good. I like it anyway. I doubt you will be able to order without privacy glass as thats the whole point of the black edition it comes with it as standard.

I have ordered the wheels from a chap who gets reps from Italy (not to be mistaken for the chinese **** soft ones) cost £440. Exactly the same as the latest S3 model sportback. I've just had a look at the Sportback Black edition in Red, LOOKS AWFULL!!! so i'm sticking to the black as first planned. I want to order the S3 front and adapt the badge to the sline one, I just need to know if its defo a straight swap out.

HELP!
 
Black Edition looks great in those pics apart from the tints :(

OK, Phantom Black paint was a £490 option, electric folding mirrors £115, Throughload system (for the rear centre armrest) £170, ipod connection £145 and Alcantara/leather seats £460.

Standard price (according to dealer) was £19,800.

Total - £21,180 (if I've added it up right)


Part-ex'ing my 206 for £4,000.

Looks awesome mate - do post pics once you have it out in the open !!
 
Im sure some Lamin X won't hurt as well as a removeable or undectable remap!

It does look good though - so for the uk market, they removed the front tints or are they tinted in the uk limit which makes it look like you have no tints lol
