Hi,

Might sound abit odd this one!

Has anyone got any black panels that are scrap..... or know of any scrap yards i guess....

I bought a porter cable machine polisher abit ago and want to do some practicing on some scrap before i go ahead with my car!!

I'm in the Yorks area......

Cheers :)

Probs better off going to a scrapies and getting one from their of a vag car as the paint on all newer vag cars is quite hard....

I did have a spare wing off my golf in LC9Z as someone keyed mine and was going to bolt it on but got it sprayed - cant remember what I've doen with but I'll take a quick look before i go uni...

Just watch a few vids on youtube as well as thats how i learned and always start with the least aggressive polish (I've been told).

Menzerna were doing all 5 polishes in a pack for not a bad price...I've still got mine - well worth it!

My PC has gone on a walkies :S - I'll either have to find it or get N8 KOW (Nathan) to polish it up for me! His work looks good on his website and he only lives down the road from me lol

But results are really good - my old car came out spotless and swirlfree!!

Well worth the effort!

Ahh "Tekno Instincts" Arguably the best 19' for the Golf 4/mk1 TT :yum:

Wanted a set for years, could never find them!
