Yes mate, That was a Kam ice sticker and yes East london/essex.

how much is the full respray costing? would ove to get mine resprayed but people were i live want more than the cars worth.
ive had the roof completely repainted by audi under warranty but would like the rest of the car done now.

lol, probably now - sold it for 5.3k end of last year before the market took an even steeper decline

Its costing **** loads!!!!! but I no the guy that owns the bodyshop and he hasnt Hit me with the figures yet...... But a few of the lads from My area have had full respays not colour changes between 2k-3k, I think that is the going rate. if they gave u a respray under warranty and there is a colour difference they should blend it. I have a mate that had 1 side done by BMW under warranty and kept taking it back as there was a slight difference and endded up witha full respray for free try and see good luck

Im from north London but basically live in east where all my family are... And leaving the side repeaters may not be too bad as at the end of the day they arn't pre-facelift items like mine that look like they came off a 1980's transit van....

Lol, c'mon they aint that bad I had pre-facelift too.

How do you know bout kam ice?? Kam sponsered my car through rockford fostgate and has done all my ice, alarm and tracker and is a real good friend too. I'm really shocked that you picked up on his sticker. I'm normally at his shop if i'm not work Lol.

Forest coach works he called Jags, Not jags bodyshop but they use to work together!!!! They are based in fairlop water.

Guys here a little update on the baby... Im still waiting for it.......

But here are a few pic from this week............................


The car is prept, the arches widened, the strips/door moulding holes welded and filled and the number plate recess started on and should be completed on saturday so that the car can be primered and ready for paint...

Just a little update, The car was meant to be out ages ago, but the guy that way doing the work has been off sick for the last few weeks.
I was at the bodyshop this morning managed to get a few pics just before it went into paint. It was painted this afternoon so it should be out very soon.

Hey the car was painted yesterday and finished today all the bumpers and skirts will be painted tomorrow and be going on soon...............

While nice, i just don't think that the red fits. If it were me i'd have had the roof done in flat (non) metallic black. That would have broken up the purple a bit if that is what you were trying to acheive.

I could be totally wrong here though, get the car done and post some pics up of it again, it might look different once it's put back together.

In the pictures it looks like you've had the car painted black, then the rear quaters fade into purple. Black/Purple are an awesome combination and i love the FORD paint - Dark Aubergine. Stunning. Is the whole car black/purple or as i said the rear quaters?

Hopefully it'll look stunning. Cant wait to see it fully done.

Cheers Mr G, it is what i was going for. I was abit shocked to see it aswell but it looks different in the flesh and because its different you have to look at it twice, like when the mercedes cls first came out!!!!!! But I'm waiting for it to be finished too.

Cheers Jason, I want to come down to Santa pod but the thing is I dont have an exhaust system made or sourced yet, The rear bumper has exhaust cut out soo it would look and silly......

Wow...that really looked good. Really nice color...Like the discrete metallic flake when it's clouded but when the sun hits it...PURPLE...Lovely!!! Dunno bout the roof...think it could work with color codedw wheels...Thumbs up!

Wow...looks nice.

Really love the color scheme!!! And the wheels...man they are nice!! Goes really well with the dark paint. The stance is perfect too...

But the SFG and all the plastix aren't my cup of tee...But it's your car mate ;-)

Also would like to mention that a smoothed out rear bumper could make it work better at the rear..

All in all...Thumbs up!!

Looks much better now its back together... when you mentioned the front bumper you were going for I was sceptical... there is a thread here with a yellow car with a similar front end but I must say it doesn't look that bad... I think the paint choice has made it blend in real nice.
