you ring them up and pay with a card over the phone and then they send you the st-3 and you follow the instructions

Just called and ordered mine too :) I think I will go down and pick it up also - either tomor evening or most likely Friday afternoon - what time you planning on going down on Friday Fella ?

im booked in at 12 mate but they are actually doing the maps there and then for me instead of me emailing them my original cos i have a ****** mac and not a pc haha

might see you there then son

i've heard its very easy to do yourself

basic explanation

plug st-3 in to port
down load orginal map onto st-3
email it to chipped uk
within an hour they email you back the maps
upload to your st-3
plug st-3 back into the car and your away

i think that pretty much it
 
Ordered! Used my dads card because I didnt want any no doing the deal when i finally get my card, so its on its way!
I'm so excited now! Its gonna be a blast literally!

Just wanted to say a big thanks to Lex and to Kaz for the review. Its been a great effort by Lex and all those lucky enough to get the deal are privileged to have such a good community on here.

If your ever in blackpool lex i'm sure i'll stretch to a shandy for ya! haha! No alcohol with so much more power!

Hi Lex 1200will be a bit early for me to slope off .....maybe get there about 1500hrs - will be just in time to get restricted speed on the 42 on way home ..doh !!!
 
Does anyone know how long the delivery time is? It's hard waiting by the door when you don't know how long you are going to be waiting for!

no only ourselves and giac reset diesel flash counters that i know of.... the alien tech (or st3) device doesn't

V3.25 will not increment the counter - this is the latest version which your guys should have (as i also have it and i got mine a month ago -ish)

I need to check as i forgot - My car doesnt have warranty so it doesnt realy bug me - I'll do it tommorrow but another uk-mkivs member confirmed it:

"I did a VCDS scan last weekend after loading the Fast Road to my 2.0 TDI and all the fields for programming attemps, successful attemps, tool code etc. were zeros. I am using v3.25 of the ST3 software, so this version definitely doesn't increment any counters that are accessible via VCDS."

So according to that, guys with warranty, if something goes bump on your car, put it standard and take to Audi and you should be ok even though ChippedUK have their own warranty (which i just realised lol)
 
Got My ST3 this morning :) but having problems installing the drivers :(. Think i may have got the Vista drivers or something!



Emailed ChippedUK, awaiting reply....
 
Recieved my ST-3 this morning!! nice quick delivery! i have vista on my lappy not on pc so i shall use my lappy then when i install and use the item. I will have a go later if not tomorrow got alot on today!!(bloomin Wife!!!!) So will update on my results and road test later!:hi:
 
Tries it on my PC, my Laptop and a friends Vista laptop. No good. Have been emailing Chipped UK but they havent got back to me in a few hours. Anyone got a Version of their software i can try?

however i went yesterday and had the maps loaded up while i waited and WOW! its amazingly fast

at first i thought "this isnt much different" then about 10 miles later i was loving it

2nd and 3rd just blow your mind, constant acceleration throughout both and i've never seen the speedo needle move so fast.

my friends dad drove it and he said "it feels faster then my 2008 3.0tdi a6" which is about 240bhp but is the size of a tank.

im really impressed with it but im abit worried about my clutch because that amount of toque is amazing i cant imagine my clutch can handle it but so far so good.

keep me udated on what you think

and epicfx - just ring them, they arnt the quickest at replying to emails.

I will be in for TWO if the offer price will cover my TT Mk2 2.0T and my wifes mk5 Golf GT TDi 2.0 140 (non DPF). Tried sending them an email to find out if these could be included in the group buy, but had no reply so far? ...anyone know?

Got it sorted now cheers Lex. Their drivers didn't work so i downloaded some off the microsoft site. I've emailed them my Original map, so i suppose it will be monday now before they get back to me with the mapped :(.

The map sounds awesome, which 2 did you go for?

Set one up Fella between you and Pilott you are already over a quarter of the way there to be air Lex's group buy was a little slow on the uptake then all of a sudden 10 names arrived and 3 more looking for the same deal - re the OBD on my A4 B6 it is under dashboard on drivers side near to the door easier way to find it would be kinda swat down by drivers door then slide yourself into the footwell with your back on the floor if you know wat I mean then look up from footwell area under the dash.

Double checked with Advance ID and it does not increment the counter!

But, it does state the date when the car was last flashed (15/01/09).

Hmmmm...Is this the same with Revo and other counter flashing remaps or does the initial date stay the same??

Doesnt really bother me though :D

WOW!!!! I have created a monster!!!!!!!

Uploaded and installed the Fast road map very easy and very quick service from Chippeduk. Went in no problems and took about 5 minutes.
Just came back from a 'Test Drive'.

I have not stopped smiling the car was so much quicker and smoother and just did not run out of puff at all like it used to!!! Finally drives like it should of from the Factory!!! Econmy seems prety much the same as the engine does not seem to need to upshift as earlier as it has the power there!! great bit of kit and a great map!!
Cheers to LEX for the arranging the group buy best £300 i have spent for a while!!! :redrs4:
 
Great great map! gives so much more confidence in overtaking and i'm sure its smoother than the original map!

Think I'm gonna have to have more of a mess around with the traction controll switched off haha!
 
Hey guys,

Put my remap on last night and had a good drive. The boost was certainly a lot smoother and the rev needle did fly up. But i can't say i have noticed a massive difference, unless the Maps were named wrong or something! Loaded up fast road. I'm going to reload the map and give it a go at lunch with my mate.
