Self employed and end of contract looming with no sign of new work!
So it’s got to go – well there’s no point pretending I can afford to keep it!
Will be advertising my car on here, Auto trader and Piston Heads at the weekend.

A4 Avant 2.0TDi (143) S line 2008 (58 plate)
Manual
Quartz Grey Metallic
Full Leather (black)
Heated seats
19's 7 spoke double arm
Sat Nav
B&O speakers
AMI (with ipod cable)
Servotronic PAS
Elec Folding mirrors
Phone prep in front arm rest
Storage pack
Interior light pack
Rear parking sensors

Car is in excellent condition and I’ve only done 2000 miles.

Will be advertising for £27k but open to sensible (i repeat, sensible) offers.
(however no Part Ex offers please)

If anyone is interested please PM me for details or full advert with pictures.

Thanks

Keef:blownose:

Wouldnt say its a bargain, it can be bought brand new for 28.5k.

Nice spec car though should sell at the right price...

Gee, thanks for your valuable input there!
So what would you say is the right price for that spec??

Seems reasonable to me. Why would you spend 2k more on a new car, wait 12 weeks for it to come and the moment you roll it out of the showroom throw the 2k over your shoulder.

Great spec. Great Colour. Stick to your guns Keef.

Feeling for you.

Wait 12 weeks dont think so they will be plenty about unsold.

There is a 1.5k difference and it will be reg old (6 months) in 3-4 weeks bet the dealer would offer low twenties.

Not with that spec though. If you're not fussy then fine but some people want a decent spec.

Still a bit pricey though. Maybe £25-26k would get more interest.

Thanks all – just wanted to test the water.
Obviously i am prepared to take less in the current climate
but I’ve got to start somewhere and if you don’t ask you don’t get!!
It may seem pricey to some but that’s probably cos I don’t really want to get rid of it!
Just hope I can get it cleaned to get some decent pix to go with the advert tomorrow!

We (the company) have been offered a list of 8 x A4 Avant S-line's of various, but pretty similar, spec.
All available right now (cancelled orders maybe, or dealer stock, dunno)
Only a hyper-fussy person should have to wait for one.
I was looking at one, but can't get out of my existing lease.

Not sure about hyper-fussy but when I enquired about 2.0T Avant's that were available they could only find one in the country and another that was on it's way from Germany.

I guess it depends if getting your engine choice makes you hyper fussy.

How come your looking to get out of your current lease?

Not liking the D3 anymore ?

Love it, but we've had an addition to the family since I got it.
Very hard to get the pram in the boot, so looking at an estate.
3-series touring is miles more expensive than A4 Avant.
Moot point now, as the cancellation of the D3 lease is prohibitive.
Of course, as she gets older there will come a stage when we won't need the pram, so the problem will eventually solve itself.

Just a thought, Keef, but might be an idea to get rid of your 'clutch pressure plate' thread?
Can't see it doing you any favours.

Thanks bowfer

But there's nothing to hide and honest is the best policy (isnt it?)

Cheers
Keef
