First of all, sorry if this has been covered but I've searched and have came across only facelift steering wheels (from >2005) to MFSW, when I want to change my non-facelift steering wheel to a facelift steering wheel.

This is my current steering wheel:

But I want to change it to this:

What would I need to buy ontop of the wheel to make it fit?

Thanks for any input.

The wheel will go straight on, the fitment is the same for the whole range. Its the airbag connector I'm not sure about.

Dont you need a new slip ring to put the facelift one on?

Also you need the airbag (obviously!)

Yes it can be done as ive done it on mine. I originally had the same wheel as you and went to the facelift wheel with multi function, i then went to the FBMFSW.

I had to replace the slipring and steering wheel ECU because the old slipring has a different plug to the facelift airbag and the facelift airbag is not compatible with the new air bag. You would be better looking for a MF wheel if your gona go to the trouble of replacing the ECU and slip ring. Im not far from sheffield if you require any help with fitting and coding etc etc.

Thanks mate, I appreciate all the help.

I would prefer a MF wheel so I may well look into it tbh.

How much did it all set you back, if you dont mind me asking? Hopefully I can get the steering wheel for a reasonable price as I'm on good terms with a breaker who owes me a favour, lol.
