Police are appealing for witnesses to the theft of a black Audi S3 from a property in Aspen Drive, Longford, Coventry at just before 9.30pm on Wednesday evening, 4 February.
Three or four men dressed in black and wearing balaclavas are reported to have broken into the property and threatened the occupants with what is believed to be a shotgun. They demanded the keys to the Audi before stealing it off the driveway.
No-one was injured during the incident.
Officers are appealing for witnesses who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area at around the time of the burglary. Police believe the offenders travelled to the area in a light coloured vehicle and may have driven without lights on, in the immediate vicinity of Aspen Drive.
DC Andrew Lea said "It is a tight network of roads and it is possible people living locally may have seen the men before they put the balaclavas on or the vehicle parked nearby. Please contact us straight away if you noticed any suspicious activity near Aspen Drive."
Officers made an immediate search of the area and police enquiries are ongoing. PCSOs are carrying out house to house enquiries to establish further witnesses.
If you have any information that could help police identify the men involved, please asked to contact DC 793 Andrew Lea in Nuneaton CID on 02476 641111 or voicemail 10793
