How much do stairs cost?

I know this isnt the forum for it, but how much do new stairs cost? I am renovating a cottage in Swansea.

Straight, normal stairs. I guess they work out a cost per step, but does anyone have any experience of how much this is?

Ive made stair cases in the past and you can do it cheaper yourself than buying a pre made case

the parts that will cost the most are the stringers which form the sides of the unit. look on a few site mate all the info is out there diynot.com is a good place to start
