..The guy I sold my old red A3 to rolled it 4 times into a field last night & wrote it off. All in the car were fine even though he was thrown out the window. I had the car for 5 years & kept it very shiny, ah well.

said he was swerving to miss a fox(????) lost the back end and went into a field. Everybody was fine tho all I know for sure is the bruise on his shoulder from the seatbelt. All the Airbags fired. I havent seen it yet but hope to later today, will take my camera if its not too dark.

a little over 2 months of owning it and 3rd party insurance!

heart breaker...

if it were me id have 2 say bye bye fox and hello new front end!

He was thrown out of the car, even though he was wearing his belt???
****** hell.

just found out he only had in on his shoulder but not clipped in. That will explain the look of rope burn on his shoulder. As said, anything less than a cow or deer you could be safer hitting it.

****** hell - he flew out the window and hes ok - must have been a miracle.

Sh!t happens - just glad they're all ok.

Its this crappy weather - loads of crashes are happening

Well been out to see it, doubt it rolled 4 times though! Gonna be a ****** to recover as the ground is like a paddy field. I see only the passengers seat airbag fired. Engine still runs LOL

So easy repair then, I have a dremel & superglue if need hand, lol, shame mate, but everything has its life span huh & not being funny but what kinda speed was he doing to have to swerve so much & end up like that, I do wonder, was it an one of those invisible foxes, lol

yeah he must of bin doing some speed look how far hes gone in the field one of my mates died in a car crash at 60 he's lucky to be alive and just get a bruised shoulder lol yeah it could of been an invisible fox

Looking at picture of the interior, the radio is gone. Did he take it out or did some scum rub more salt into his wounds

I'm with you guys, invisible fox! Car with 21 year old driver & 3 passengers on a Sat night??? Must have been fun for the passengers trundling down the hill with no driver to steer or brake LOL.

He removed the stereo a few days later himself, i'd fitted a kenwood with flipdown facia to it.

Don't know how he survived after exiting the vehicle,my bro said he actively held onto the steering and ducked his head preparing for impact and bar the jump of ten feet and being spun ninety degrees the car stayed upright but when rolling anything can happen.

Thats a stereo type...Im 21 and happen to drive a 1.8 sport too...

not gonna get into a long boring argument m8.

go google the stats on young drivers. theres a reason why insurance doesnt go down till your 25.

Easy easy people, as long as your mate was ok khufu....

Why are they're tyre marks if it rolled - or did you drive it to try and get it out ?

One hell of crash - lucky to walk away if you ask me....

they are drag marks, the first pics is actually where it landed I guess

It rolled when it went into the field and a ended up pointing down the hill on its wheels. As the driver was no longer in the car the 3 passengers were helpless/dazed as it rolled down the hill coming to a stop at the mound.

A long way to go until I have to worry about either of my daughters getting into cars with young lads, thank god.
But, I swear, if any young lad involves either of them in an accident where I suspect he was being a pillock, he will regret it.

Sad story involving one young dickhead up here.

His 16 year old girlfriend was killed last year, when the car he was driving crashed (no other car involved).
Everyone and their granny knows he was driving like a prat, but it was unproven.
He gave it the big "so sorry" etc.etc.

Lo and behold, he's back in the paper the other week.
Charged with deliberately driving his van at someone in a carpark.
Then pictured making funny faces towards the newspaper photographer on his way out of court.

That's one arrogant little twit that should never, ever be allowed near a car again.

Sorry for going OT, BTW.
Just annoys me when I see innocent passengers' lives potentially being ruined by stupid drivers.
They may have been egging this guy on, of course.
Equally, they may have been screaming at him to slow down.
What with ESP/ABS, it takes a lot to crash a car now, it really does.

this is all im gonna say. this happend were i am and kinda says it all i think. time to stop and think about driving styles sometimes guys.

Man guilty of killing girlfriend in crash

Tuesday, January 27, 2009, 09:34
A DEVASTATED father, who lost his only daughter in a horrific car smash, today welcomed a jury's decision after Darren Hatfieldwas found guilty of causing the death by dangerous driving of 17-year-old Joanna Pryce.
Tearful dad Gerry Pryce, 53, of Heathfield, warned young drivers about the tragic consequences of reckless driving.
In less than two hours a jury of eight women and four men found Hatfield, 19, of Higher Roborough, guilty of killing Miss Pryce after he overtook a friend's car at high speed, lost control of his vehicle and ploughed into a tree on the A383 near the Dartmoor Halfway Inn.
