Hi there, I'm getting bored of breakfast..

I never used to have time for breakfast, so I'm making an effort to start. So far every morning I've had something to eat either:

 cereal (honey nut loops are my favourite)

:yum: croissant with jam,
:yum: croissant with cheese and ham,
:yum: toast and strawberry jam.

:yum: toast cut into soldiers with sliced kiwi fruit
:yum: toast cut into soldiers with strawberries (warning: not nice if you've just brushed your teeth!) so put a tiny quantity of carnation condensed milk. Brekky looks and tastes lovely.

Just wondering if you can suggest other breakfasts.

Cheers

Cheese on toast, or a toastie, cheese, onion, ham and mushroom.

Full english, porridge, or a traditional Indian breakfast - Paratha (google it) and spicy tea (yummy!!!)

Hangover Weeekend Brekkie:
Full English

Healthy Weekend Brekkie:
Scrambled Eggs, Beans, Wholemeal Toast

Healthy Brekkie:
Weetabix & Fruit

Before Training Brekkie:
Protein shake, Pint Water, Fruit, Strong Black Coffee

Actually a blow job first thing in the morning beats anything suggested so far but thats a different forum thread I suppose.
And its not very filling......for you that is....:)

....whatever you like i suppose, but its not for me....Lol:tapedshut:

I'd rather have a fry up....

Oh yeh Maccy's do lovely brekkys! nice treat now and again. Full english are nice too, but takes a while to conjure up. The paratha looks too complex lol. Its early in the morning my brain doesn't switch on until I'm rushing out the house lol.

p.s pancake day next month can you think of any fab toppings you can recommend?

Hey the Paratha's, you can get ready made ones now (Shana), they are very easy to make, all you have to do is put them in a frying pan and keep flipping, quite healthy as well as you dont even need oil.

But the full english has got to do it everytime for me!!!

Oh and if im in a rush, its got to be porridge mixed with Drinking Chocolate :)

Mmmmmmmm.... pancakes with the ice cream, great choice forgot all about that!

not sure about the salmon, smoked or unsmoked? raw or steamed?

Mr Boring, unless I'm at a hotel, with ****** breakfast it's pretty much always

2 weetabix and a pile of Muesli, with skimmed milk, plus a glass of apple juice.

Cheers,

Good choice.

3 Wheetabix with semi-skimmed milk, blueberries and raspberries for me. Yum.

I'll try weetabix and fruit, sounds tasty. Anyone know what its like with yoghurt? my friend has bran flakes with milk, she leaves it in the fridge until its like sludge. If I had that I'll need lots of sugar!

Special k (normal ones no fruit rubbish) s-skim milk and a strong cup of tea.... sets you up for the day.

I think weetabix will be next on order though... always tastes best when microwaved and all mushy with a touch of sugar.

no fruit (well...maybe a banana when at work)

When i get to work, i have a blue riband, then a bit later on, strawberries and grapes, then a banana and an orange and apple :)

Its all about the 5 a day!!!

After a gruelling nightshift last night, I was going to skip 'breakfast' and head for my pit (breakfast for the normal dayshift punters...or some form of messed up evening meal for the 6 nightshift lads)...but I didn't.

I ended up with the breakfast roll of Kings:

Fresh white roll, 1 x slice of black pudding, 1 x slice of square sausage (odd Scottish thing), HP sauce between...and lashings of Tobasco sauce in there too.

By far, the best breakfast roll in the whole wide world ever. Period.

Only 2 and a bit more hours and i'll be in for another!

Sometimes Italian biscuits called Maccine, man they're lovely, I bring them over as the Mrs is italian, god when in italy supermarket isle for italian biscuits is like being charlie wonka with the golden ticket for me lmao, oh & 2 cups of tea, love tea man cant beat it anytime.

Realistically however, on one of the very rare occasions when I do have breakfast, I'll be behind jojo in the queue at Maccy D's for a sausage and egg mcmuffin hmmm yummy...

You won't need the extra sugar, you get it from the fruit. You'll be surprised ;)

Keeps you going well into the day as well.

Has to be steamed smoked salmon. dont do the eggs in the microwave, just get a frying pan warm crack 2 eggs into it a splash of milk and some s+p and use a wooden spoon to stir. it makes it nice and crispy and very tasty!!

I haven't plucked up the courage to taste black pudding yet lol.

Its alright, i wouldn't say i have it in my fry ups though, i'd eat it if it was on my plate but i wouldn't choose it....

Get some natural honey and spread it on a piece of toast, takes 2 minutes and tastes yum yum :yum:

Really good for you too...

I've not tasted 'pig red' but I asked mum about it she made a face :sadlike:. Puts me off a little. lol

At the moment for breakfast, its still fruit on toast. (Sliced grapes on soliders :yum:). When I get a chance to go shopping I'll experiment a bit.
