Denison Gateway 100 problem

I know this isnt in the right area (apologies)

I fitted my Denison Gateway 100 a few weeks back and after getting an ipod for xmas im still stuck as to how to get it to work with the playlists

As of now the system always defaults to CDC5 (aux cd5) on my symphony II HU.... i can select other CD's but is plays exactly the same order as CDC5, the order seeems to change however occasionally, at the minute its playing from playlist 2

I have tried renaming the playlists CD1,2,3 and then tried naming them with just numbers..... i did upload the new software update b4 xmas but am still having no joy...what am i doing wrong???

just to keep you guys updated it appears the Gateway is the new version of the icelink and has different controls as below for reference. As usual in the clear concise Denison language

In Gateway mode:

If you select disc 1 and press next track, you can browse in your playlist (you will hear the first song of your first playlist, if you press next track the first song of your second playlist will be audible - if you hear the proper one (what you want to listen) you just need to confirm your choice and press and hold the FFW button min. 2 seconds)
If you select disc 2 and press next track, you can browse in your artists
If you select disc 3 and press next track, you can browse in your album
If you select disc 5 and press next track, you are in Play all mode.

iPod UI mode:

only next track and previous track works. and of course you can select Gateway UI mode

Aparently these work very good. £64 quid so not cheap. I'll be getting one soon. I'll let you know how i get on!

Sorry i can't be of anymore help, i have an Ipod nano-chromatic but use my FM transmitter at the moment. Until the cable arrives!

Mr.G from what i understood the denison is the only unit to work off the HU controls....£100 for the lead

luckily i kno how to use it now, the above looks more complicated than it really is.....good luck with the connect

What is HU? can ou explain why this is the best? I'm thinkin i might change my mind and order this one!

I've got this one and works fine, pretty similar to yours, Plus you also get a extra wire for the added bonus of be able to connect to anything with a 3.5mm jack like a Nokia N95/6 or a PSP and have the sound through the speakers..
