As the title says....its the last one and its an extended special....

Hmmmm, they are really stupid tho!!! (presenters not bikers)

i thought it was brilliant, best thing ive seen in weeks, funny and a nice looking place for an adventure

Wasn't a bad Episode in my opinion, looked like a laff, and though it didn't really feature much in the way of motorcars, those bikes/scooters did have wheels and an engine.

i watched that mille miglia prog after tg. guy didnt make it to the end, nearly 800k on a 1948 maserati, bummer..........

It was brilliant.
Clarkson was soooo wrong to choose a Vespa as his first foray into biking though.
Those things are inherently unstable, I know experienced bikers that would struggle!

TBH, I think it was deliberate.
Common sense would have had them all on 'proper' motorbikes, like Hammond's.
But there wouldn't have been any variety/fun in that.
Even my wife, who normally despises Top Gear, loved the programme.
In fact, she commented "oh god, you and your mates will do that now"
Yup, it's definitely a possibility.

I thought is was a good episode but have to say I wasn't overly pleased. Well I'm not a bike fan for one.

You could hardly call it a programme for bike fans though, given they were riding utter sacks of crap.
It was about the trip, the commeraderie, the adventure.
Saying you had to be a fan of bikes to enjoy it is like saying you had to be a fan of wintersports to enjoy their polar adventure.
Their one-off specials are rarely about the means of transport, more the journey.

****** HELL!!!!
Im a massive bike fan and a massive top gear fan and i missed it!

anyone know if or when its on again?
cheers

BBC iplayer.
Don't get too excited about the bike aspect, it really wasn't about the bikes.
You'd have to be a weird bike fan to get excited about a C50, a two-stroke Russian 125 and a Vespa.:)
One funny comment from Clarkson, when going down a twisty hill.
"I have my knee down (he didn't), I am Francis Rossi"
A deliberate error, I'm sure.:)

a lot of it is deliberate, its put into the writing of the show

like when hammond built the boat and then stood up to put it into the ceiling fan

obviously scripted but still damn funny!

i hate people that say "oh theyve been told to do that to get laughs".....well yeah! same with monty python and any other comedy show. the reason its popular is because the writers are genious!

nothing against you bowfer :)

not a true TG fan than :whistle2:

Word is Alpinestars and Dainese are researching the material used in Clarkson's trousers.

:applaus:

watched it last night, yes its very scripted but its done very well.
thought it was one of the better episodes this season.
would love to see clarckson on the back of a proper bike round there track, i think it would keep him quiet for a while.

loved it, shame there episodes dont run longer.
