im a firm believer in giving props where there due but omg its a differant car again

the map has been smoothed out and is soo much more powerful mid revs i was shocked as to how much differance its made

anyone thinking about it get it done you wont be dissapointed

and a thanks to revocarl for the advice on it too :icon_thumright:

is it your first mapp? or did you have the stage 1 before?? by the sounds of it its a 2nd mapp you've had done

Yeh my brother had it on his LCR. Nice map. Probably do it myself but Im going S1 first.

Whats done on the stage 2 over the 1? - Is it different exhaust/cats etc? or Turbo upgrade?

this is my second map had the stage 1 since may this year

to get stage 2 you need to have a full milltek or the like fitted and either a sports cat and or cat replacement pipe with decent downpipe a 4 bar fuel pressure reg and a decent air filter

if you already had stage 1 done take the receipt down to your local revo dealer and they do it for 50 quid plus vat

i cant tell you how much its worh doing for that kinda cash

from my understanding the injectors and timing are given an extra tweak and my boost was turned up another stage carl says if i get a front mount cooler (next on my list) he will be able to run it with a really agressive boost which im looking forward too

its a propper handful even in the dry now it keeps wanting to break traction in 2nd

sounds great that does. what sort of figures are you expected to see from it?

the way it drives its gotta be atleast 220bhp ill find out soon as ill be organising a power run day for a few mates, ive heard of these hitting 240bhp with a decent fmic

if i got anywhere near that id be chuffed

ello tel how u doing ?

i use to see you up reading cruise ...

erm , what figures are you quoting here? reason i ask is that they claim around 270bhp at the fly from a standard generic map..... Glen on here had what was probably the most powerful S3 running a KO4 which didnt quite pip 200bhp at the wheels.... bit strange that you have some totally different figures to anything seen before

Doh !!!!:haha:....Lol

yeah i think i should have explained myself a bit better..... he was running a KO4 pretty much maxed out yet you manage to beat the figure with a KO3/S..... miracle....

Animal...i reckon he's just quoteing 220bhp which would be at the fly wheel and making about 175ish at the wheels, maybe not even that, i'm dont know....Prawns is supposed to be around the 240bhp mark on a K03s with mods, but more like 190 odd at the wheels.

yup Leggy, that would make a lot more sense...you never know though, we've had claims like that before:)

yea check me i pulled 300bhp off my ebay resistor mod and an electric super charger

nooooo

220 bhp at the fly i never quote at the wheels as it seems dissapointing

It just seems that rolling roads all vary, 265 bhp is the magic number yet no one seems to get it, when i hooked up my mates liquid S3 thingy device which is more of a calculator i was getting 242bhp, yet i was under the impression i should up at the magic figure....same was said when you and the other boys when on your rr day, think the highest figure on the day was Voorhees at about 250ish......:search:
Jabba gave me a power graph showing about 262bhp on the crappy petrol i was using at the time:uhm:
