thermostat replacement......help

hi all.
i am
loking to replace my thermostat on my agu 1.8t a3, i have the part...next thing is where does it go...and.....how!

any photos or help is much appriciated...

look left of your dipstick tube, its on the left hand side of the block as you look at it. Good luck getting the screws off, Ive done 2 now and they're always a ******!

you will need a small universal joint to get to the drivers side bolt.

Make sure you get a new o ring in the box.

It's really not that hard! And you can flush the engine while you're at it.

Careful where you dangle the earh lead for the altenator! Mine slipped and blew a 110 Amp fuse!!
