Still Got A Red or Black Caliper Dilemma...

Hi guys.

Im really really really stuck on my caliper colour and desperatly need help (AGAIN).

I want to do them red as I'm planning to get some black wheels with a red pinstrip to give this kind of look:

I was considering black calipers but with black wheels, you cant seem them at all (as the black BMW demonstrates).

I dont want to stick out like a soar whumb but i dont want my brakes to NOT be noticeable either....

Does anyone share my opnion that with Red brakes covered with black bbs design alloys with a red pinstripe would look good and not boy racierish?

im not a fan on the red calipers as they are now a little boyracer BUT the red / black /red combination like the m3 pictured does look smart and i would consider it.

Black it is.... The A3 is not an M3, Ferrari, 997, nor an RS4.... Stay low and surprise the big guys...!! Here is mine in Flat Anthracite

continuing on the whole caliper issue, do you guys know anywhere they can paint stock calipers either silver or red. just wanna get rid of the crappy rust colour without shelling out for new ones necessarily..btw i'm in manchester.

buy the stuff from halfords

jack car up outside house

remove wheel

slap paint on over the dirt

drip paint on pavement

put wheel back on

job done

As hinted at above, there aren't many easier jobs than painting calipers.
Wheel off, wire brush the worst of the crap off and brush on paint.
An anally-retentive perfectionist might want them bead blasted first, or something, but that's just mental.
Who the feck could be bothered with that.

You may want to do the discs silver too while the wheels are off to hide the bit that rusts.
