just won the world grand prix :) , what a last lap with timo glock randomly slowing down

Yes, credit where credit is due - the lads done really well.....

I just find Formula 1 a complete yawn to watch.....give me the Touring Car Championships anytime....

F1.............. boring
but well done Lewis Hamilton

WRC over F1 any day

rather have it boring than back to the dangerous days
Well Done the lad

That has got to be right up there with the most memorable finishes of all time........... Every race should have rain at the start and finish!!

I think there will be an enquiry as to why Glock slowed so much...?? Don't know if anything could come of it in any event, but he definately gifted the championship to Hamilton....

Still, he was as unlucky to lose it last year, as he was lucky this year! So all's fair......... I was rooting for Kimi again.

Just been over to look at the s3 im ment to be buying, im shocked how bad it is. The car is one owner from new and he is about 65, very nice guy, just cant drive to save his life. Front corner bumper and wing scuffed, needs spraying, door at the bottom near plastic strip looks like its been bumped slightly, bonnet needs spraying as he has tryed to spray stone chips himself doh! and a few scratches near boot lock but not to bad. Inside is clean and tidy though. So one owner from new, 103k full service history, only part audi mostly his local garage that looked ok, got him down to £4650. Be Honest please do you think this is a good price with all the work it needs doing.

Any advice please thanks Greg.

WRC over F1 any day???????????????

hmmmm leob 5th championship title win in a row this weekend..................maybe getting boring now lol

Or maybe he's just such a good driver thats why he keeps winning with I suspect a good car???????

Yeah anyday WRC over F1, F1 is so ****** boring

RIP Colin McRae - That day was truly a shock to hear & still is to believe it happened.

Absolutely amazing! That finish will go down as one of the sport's greatest, and it's up there with Mickey Thomas' last-minute goal in 1989, England winning the Rugby World Cup in 2003 and thumping Germany 5-1 in Munich. Just incredible - all down to the LAST corner!

If it's that bad, why did you bother to comment on this thread????

Chuffed to bits for Hammy, although he should have won it two weeks ago. I'm also glad Massa got to win his home GP. Good result all round.

Well Done Hamilton, really proud of the guy....good on him!!!

Don't like the guy, he's a daddies boy. I bet when he takes a **** his dad is there to hand him the paper.

After the race they tried to interview him and his dad had him in a kind of bear grip and kept shoving lewis through the crowd, let the man make up his own mind for ***** sake.

You'll be another one of those sore losers then? You can hardly call Lewis a daddies boy and not consider Massa in the same context. Danny Devito is just as ever-present as Anthony Hamilton. Oh yes, and ofcourse Glock handed it to Hammy, despite the worn slicks on a cold damp track, hahahahahahahahah!

How can I be a sore loser unless I was competing?!

Worn slicks that 'gave up' 300 yards from the finish? yeah right!

Glock was holding Hamilton off until the last minute.

All smells fishy to me.

not to forget that his dad is also his manager...eh?

If Glock wanted Hamilton to win, he should/would have pit stopped to change his tyres and let hamilton back in 4th place. He took the gamble not to pit and failed...

His penultimate lap was 1m29ec iirc. and last was 1m44sec, so he was already slow well before your suggested 300yards

I felt the same at the time when it happened, but watching the highlights clearly in the evening show actually showed Glock understeering into the turn, you could clearly see him apply opposite lock to save his car when Vettel and Hamilton both made the pass. :racer:

Before it's taken down by FOM, Have a look at this http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=pQcGX0KwQqs
At 1.33 you can see Glock struggling about 2 secs ahead of hammy, and almost caught by kubica. Kubica gets the inside line into turn 10 and pushes Glock onto the wet part of the track. At 1.44 you'll see Glock go wide at turn 10 with Vettel going past and Lewis right behind him. Glock then understeers and runs wide, no conspiracies...

Can I just add that I now hate Lewis Hamilton, he's F1 World Champion and he's dating that bird from pussycat dolls! I HATE HIM! I HATE HIM! I HATE HIM!

But he's only 2ft tall, do you think he has cushions to see over the wheel

Ahhh yes.... but when he stands on his wallet, he's very tall!

Kinda like Bernie!

A great job by Hamilton, I cant stand the hate he has recieved off people, at 23 he has done something most people cant even dream of ( including nicole!!! :) ) Best of all is seeing that Ferrari garage at the end.....a sheer moment of brilliance!:lmfao:

Agreed, there is a lot of hate out there for this dude, when he hasnt really done anything wrong, i know there are plenty of people out there that wouldnt mind being in his shoes!!

Have to agree with his dad as well, about the comment he made before the race started when they were all booing...no need...

It was total edge of the seat stuff and totally worth watching! If you think Lewis is a daddies boy watch the footage floating around a the moment from when Lweis was karting in the british championships years ago, his dad was basically a one man band mechanic, trainer & god knows what else so I think he's got every right to be protective of Lewis, without him there would be no Lewis Hamilton, and im not talking about the the sperm donation his dad gave to Lewis's mum!

You just know that his bird Nicole put out that night in the filthiest, dirtiest of ways!!! Lucky git!!!

My bro is his pilot and he says he's a very down to earth and grounded man for his age. Hats off and well done Lewis.

We should hav a group day out to the grand prix at silverston next year.. how cool would that be....
Start savin now lol...

My mate who workd for Vodafone(Who happen to be a Sponsor for McLaren) got paid a visit from Lewis Hamilton along with the McLaren Team! They had his winning car there and my mate was able to finger the buttons on the steeringwheel, and he claims the gearshift paddles on an F1 car are Heavy Duty, they require a firm tug before they click. He couldn't get near Lewis though, too many people congratulating him, but he got some pics.
