as far as i know mate this is one of the best systems about and will not cause any problems, im sure if im wrong someone will correct me.

only problem ive heard is some smack the chassis as per Glen's issues...Milltek refused to fix and it still does it to this day 2 owners later.....

I considered getting one too but the fact that all ill be paying for is the noise it makes its a no goer....depends what your after though

I have it (A3 though). I fitted it myself and no problem until now. even passed MOT no problem at all.

I have one on my A3 1.8T QS. No issues with it since I got it, nearly a year now. They had to cut the valance slightly but thats it. Got it fitted in Glasgow.

Attached some pics for ya (not the best pics but you maybe get the idea).

Last week he was ill, needed a coil pack replaced hence him on a truck.

Nice lookin Quatty.... out of interest how much diff did the revo make ? assuming like mine it's origionally a 180bhp motor... Revo would take it to 195/200 i would guess ???

You shouldn't get any running problems with a cat-back milltek. Are you sure you're not getting confused with a de-cat? I have an old de-cat pipe in my garage that I never fitted due to the lambda probes.

Personally, I'd say the Supersprint looks much better but the perform equally as well - neither give an increase in power. The standard system is much better than its given credit for; Jim at Star Performance put on a full APR system on his S3 and lost 7bhp....

Cheers!

Never had it on a rolling road so dont know the exact figure, but yeah... does make a nice difference  I would recommend it to anyone. Go get a trial version of it... they will install it and I bet you will be handing over your plastic by the end of the day :superman: Trial lasts for about 8 hours I seem to remember.

From the website (http://www.revotechnik.com/) it says...

Standard Revo bhp 180 207 Torque 173 232
I am running the car on Shell Unleaded 100 (they have this all over Europe and it is ok price wise) so thats helps as well I suppose.

I need it lowered and some ARB's then that will be me happy. Maybe get a stage 2 Revo but that will be enough modding for me I thinks.

I hope I never lost 7 :sadlike:

are the miltek zosts noisy?? Im not sure if i wanna swap my nice and quiet beast to a nova sounding beast??

is there no way round it smacking the chassis???

i think Glenm said it was a design fault of the system....we know how much work he put into his car and he never stopped it hitting.... tells a story

Although most seem fine from what ive heard.... no gains would annoy me though...£400+ for a sporty note is daftIMO, each to their own though

I think the 1.8TQ's have a different system which may mean gains but im not entirely sure

The Millteks and Supersprints are a 'better' sound than standard, but niether are loud IMO. (unless you go for the Race version of the SS). Mine had no central silencer and I never found it too boomy. Saying that, by the end of ownership and with all the other mods, it used to pop, bang, and spit like a proper turbo car. AFAIK, it still does. :)

The milltek fitting issues are a tricky one to sort. Its only when it's up to full temp that it starts expanding and knocking.

if you want it, get it fella:lmfao:...... you sound like you really need to spend some money on your car...is it burning a hole?:jester:

The S3 system i have sat in the garage it identical to the one on my Quatty other than bore size.. the S3 is a little larger.. and obviously the downpipe is diff where it bolts onto the turbo... ohh and the S3 has visible tailpipes
