S-Line rear bumper : part nos please...

Can someone please tell me the Audi Part Nos (and price if you have it) for the lower section on the rear bumper of a 2007 A3 Sportback S-Line.

Mine's sustained some damage and I'm in need of a new or good condition s/h one. Also, any tips on how to remove/replace it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

If its like the 3 door one then its the whole of that bottom piece thats needed so will require painting! I checked with the audi bible that is MarcQ a few weeks ago... I'm sure he can tell you the part number

SB S-Line Rear bumper spoiler (lower) for dual pipe exhaust models is:

8P4 807 434 D GRU (primed).

You don't appear to have the detachable towbar, but if you do then the part number is:
8P4 807 434 E GRU (primed).

As matt says, it is not just the black bit. If you look above the black bit you will see a line running all the way across the bumper. The lower spoiler runs from this line down, so will require painting to match your car.

Depending on how much damage was done to the black bit it may be possible to just get it fixed by using what they call a "plastic weld" (at least in the body shop I went to before).

They pretty much fill the hole in and then touch it up with tiny brushes. You could even try getting them to paint the black bit platinum grey the same as the new S-Line and the S3.

There's one on ebay at the moment but not for the SB, I take it they are different part Nos?

yeah they are different part numbers.

3dr is: 8P3 807 434 D GRU
SB is: 8P4 807 434 D GRU

no idea unfortunately. I'd say you're looking at about £110-£130 as my brother had to get one for his GTI and it was about €200. I'd guess they're around the same price.

the upper rear bumper is the same for the S3 and S-Line so there's no reason why it shouldn't fit - however since they didn't make a S3 SB in the pre-facelift model then the S3 rear valance may not fit the SB (since the pre-facelift S3 was only available in 3dr).

so is the rear bumper on the old a3 with the protection strip same as the sline one? the one which you have on your car?if not what is the difference

no - there is no protection strip on the s-line bumper or the S3 one (like the one in my sig)

but is the old bumper with the protection strip and the one like yours the same? apart from the protection strip and the lower valance, i am asking because i also want to add the s3 valance, so when you said earlier that the s3 and sline bumper is the same i am wondering if s3 valance would fit the older bumper too?

IIRC the s3/s-line valance will only fit if you have the facelift model as the rear bumper was also altered.

Yes I contacted him about it. I checked the numbers out and its for a Sportback only. Get bidding its the right one!

It would be worth checking price with audi, from what i remember the A3 sline rear valance is about £50-60
