Dont think these alloys suit my car at all.
Mtm are soo niceeeee i really want a set but out of my price range right now. (tempted to save)

CH & the original RS6 style seem to be the best ones, but I'd add a spoiler as it honestly does make alot of difference would you believe, lol, no ballshit

Lol you were a BIG part of convincing me, Should go into sales mate ha.
Yeah i've noticed from other a3 how much better they look with a spoiler.
Im hoping to get my car most mods done by end of this month of half way through november. So two grills to one. Alloys Lowering and spolier. Yeah keep me updated quite looking forward to seeing how it looks all done :thumbsup:

if you like the MTM why not pick a set of the old rs4 wheels they are not far of the same, and the a4 fitment would mean you wundent have to fit a spacer to fill the arch like most a3 owners do.
I wouldnt stick these rs4's on any 8P car tbh as they just dont suit, infact personally I wouldnt stick them on any car, lol, lol

How the car looking et any where yesterday?
well came up against some hurdles & answered some today by Wesley who very kindly took photos for me, no one else with an S3 ****** well helped, nice to see that huh, not!!!
Anyway I'll get cracking on it tomorrow as few issues to resolve myself & paint guys as they forgot to take some tape of the skirt end caps so I might just do the front end for now then finish of skirts when paint hiccups resolved, but I want this done asap as got springs arriving in next day or so, then I am trying to decide on which shocks to buy, plus wiring stuff coming together, cant wait until finished, will transform the car I think asthetically.

I blame you for me buying stuff for my car so help me out with alloys lol...I really dont have a clue what to go for! And i need to order some this week so i can see how much i got finished for little touchs for my car.
East of the Sussex pal, alloys well, I'll be honest, my alloys I like cause they are different from the norm, but overall I'd have to say the best alloys for an 8P are the RS6's as MattAndrew has, no matter how many times I see them they always & I say always look so right for the car, but BBS CH's are 2nd, thin spoked alloys dont suit the 8P whatsoever, S3 ones are ok but not something I could look at everyday & say yeah they are nice I wont change them, I had the RS6's on my S4, they looked good everyday I saw them.

there niceeeeeeeee wheels and like the colour they would match the look i want BUT as damian says the PCD is wrong, also the offset is 38 which is to low for the A3

Hi matt thanks for that. I did like them but looks like now out of dpm bbs reps and rs6 alloys. Either way i need to be happy with the alloys i get as my they will be on my car for a while till i get a new car in july or augest.

thanks dave they look great. As forgetting them refurbished im getting a quote off a place be me now by email. Thinking about having them standard how they are or gun metal grey or Satin Matt Black (which by there photos doesnt look black looks like a dark grey) What do you reckon?

I am toying with the idea of getting my rs6's power coated gun metal, heres a quick photoshop I did. I will probably by a set of an A4 tho as the offset is 45 (save me fitting 10mm spacers to my current 54 or whatever the A3 offset is) and then sell my current rs6's

If ur not keeping car that long for you could go for a set of replica rs6 you can hardley tell a difference

or fit a set of 2nd hand rs6, it doesent even matter if they have kurb damage if your gona get them powder coated.
I am going to have a better look around to see if i can find a set of replicas in gunmetal or similar
If you go for genuine rs6 I would go for a set of an A4 rather than an A3 as they will look better (as i said before no need to fit a spacer to fill the arch) They will fit your 8P A3 no problem.
Note: the A4's have 235 tyres instead of 225 on the A3 so if you did buy a set of the a4 remember to change the tyres

repliacs are normally about 43-45
I made the mistake of buying the OEM rs6 from an A3 rather than the A4 as it saves you about £140 on a set of 10mm spaces and longer bolts

I havent looked into powder coating yet, going to get mine either powder coated or sprayed. Yeah quite like that colour as its not full on black. Gun metal will look good

After this thread and thinking decided to go for RS6 alloys bought from a few ASN member Alan Aka 'alnes' they were picked up friday and delivered today. Thanks again Alan...They look Great getting fitted this week. Got to get them booked in so they can get refurbished and change colour to GunMetal Grey.

What you lot think of the alloys on my car then? Before any one says any thing dont worry when i parked a cross those parking bay it was when i finished my shift at my work and this was the only place dry and close lol. And P*SSING DOWN WITH RAIN & it was probably 12:30am
