Heh! About 15 years ago, I hit one at ~70mph in my old mk2 Fiesta. Completely messed up the front valance, and the radiator. Amazingly it was still alive for a few minutes!!

S3 LTN - this is the bizarre bit!... I actually had the car booked in this morning with the local audi repair specialist to sort that dent... long story short, it happened at the audi garage! (i did it... got boxed in, tried to get out, hit a post...) THEN driving home last night from london, hit the badger... so, left the car at the bodyshop last night, then turned up this morning, "morning, you know that small dent... well....." so, they're now having to fix a little more than first thought... no idea of cost, insurance job... however, not quite sure if it will be 1 or 2 claims at once!... good news is, have a nice vw fox to runaround in! hehehe, power at my foot!
got away quite lightly there tbh ! Badgers can weigh a fair bit. The fox I hit ages ago (and it was only a small one) did way more damage to the front of my car,
