Anyway, I've got around 50 colleagues travelling around the country each day, they've all been warned to be on the lookout for shady-looking garden-machinery salesmen.

Oh, and just FYI... A custom infraction-level is being added for 'luck-pushing'...

I feel we have a duty to know where the fishcake discussion went!
 
Unfortunately that won't be happening. A line needs to be drawn under large swathes of that thread, so it won't be revisited there; and the note about infractions was intended as a guide to suggest I don't want it to happen on this thread either.

By all means have fun, nothing makes my little heart chirpier, save for perhaps locating lost agricultural equipment or legendary fish cakes; but please lets not dredge-up something which needs to remain a closed-chapter...

I think if people read a post with a smile on their face, they read it very differently than if they read the same words whilst frowning and looking to be offended by it! !!

It's the reason its so difficult to set the tone of an email for example!


Anyway, at least there surely cannot be anyone taking any of this seriously ........!!
 
Can someone please remind me how the fishcakes thing started - its driving me mental trying to remember.
And did someone at some point connect fishcakes to Barbie ? Surely Barbie dooshes doesn't she ? I imagine it smells of summer meadows down there.
Or did I imagine that connection ?

I did indeed bring up the fishcakes comment as one of the may disctraction techniques adopted by many of us on last nights thread.
I still find it pretty ammusing theat it keeps popping up, but Marc's post about fishless fishcakes, or 'cakes' had me pishing myself at my desk earlier.
These threads, though utterly pointless have had me giggling away like a teenager!

In reponse to someones earlier comment about how easy it is for messages to be misinterpretted - you my friend have hit the nail on the head.
I think I tried (and failed) a few times to get the point across that no one I know on here has a maliscious bone in their body.... we all love our motors, share ideas, possible solutions to problems and give each other moral support when we need it (L60Ns seat for example - speaking of which - where are you at with that mate?).
I know the 4real post got a bit carried away, but I still take pride in the way everyone on here got behind him initially in support. It was only when everyone started getting confused that it started to spiral.

Anyway, mucho respect guys for keeping me laughing over the last few days - I take my hat off to you all! :salute:
 
My cars in the garage getting savaged by the tech's as we speak!

They are gonna put a brand new seat in :) *COMMON SENSE AT LAST*

The meeting i had was pretty heated so found it a bit awkward making small talk at that point but trust, i'll get the info squire ;)
