cheers..... i'm gonna try and get some nicer pics when it stops raining..... i'm really impressed with the wheels. although you can't tell from them pics we had them powdercoated titan grey and i'm pleased with how they turned out.

Out of interest (i.e. since I fuct my rim on my garage clip this weekend) how muhc does it cost to get them coated???

Kontra - there is a company in Stockton that is very highly regarded in stuff like this.

They are called Romax - had all four of my alloys on the old 8L S3 done when I first bought it (was 2nd hand!) and they did a cracking job with a perfect finish.
They've also just repaired one of my dads alloys (he says the curb jumped out at him!!)
Might be worth a look.

Had a set of Corrado rims done there a while back, they were completely shagged but came back fantastic.
You just have to ignore the miserable git that runs it, hes not very helpful but you do get a top job, credit where credit is due.

there ya go..... sorry still not great pics but i can blame my samsung tocco for that...........

this was just what i was wanting. i didn't want to go too dark but just enough for them to look different to the standard s3 wheel.

they actually look darker in real life too.

They look great - they match the colour of the rear bumper diffuser and the centre section of the front splitter - I'm guessing that was the intention?
Where and how much?
Also, does anyone know if it's possible to have the centre caps painted on the old style wheel?

Romax are about £50 per wheel for a repair - not sure for just a re-spray

had the wheels done at audi huddersfield, they were done for us when we picked up the car, A guy called ryan does there powdercoating He's away at the minute but the boss at the garage reckons it would prob cost about £60 a corner for a "used" wheel. hope this helps.
