Wish I could say I was suprised/shocked/amazed but this is pretty much the ***** service I've received from the bulk of the audi dealers that have taken the time to ream me over the last 3 years, really makes you feel great and cared for doesnt it?

Dreadfull matey, cannot believe that the dealer would think the standard of workmanship etc would be acceptable. I would send the photo's to Jezza and let him make his own mind up before making any threats, I would hope he will see it in your favour 110%. Settle for nothing less then all new parts including seats, they have had there chance to rectify the problem. Utter dickheads !!

I cant get over this. Read this thread back in july and now leon just got back to us to find out they taken the p*ss again. Some dealers are soo sh*t compared to others and dont know how to treat a customer. I work as a customer service manager and if myself or some one else who was dealing with a problem let it get this bad i think i'd be in big trouble.

Its one thing some muppet making a ******** of your car, its another that workshop Manager/Snr Tech has passed the work off, or even not bothered checking it at all.

Thats about as poor a job as Ive seen.

I once had a VW dealer take a dremmel to my centre console to remedy a sticking ashtray. Maybe the idiot Tech thought I wouldnt notice 3 mm of plastic had been hacked from the ashtray suround.
At least in my case it was put right straight away with an opology from the Service manager.

I hope they simply turn round and get you a new seat and replace the scratched trim. If it were me receiving your email at Audi i'd simply send the dealer a JFDI!

Now that explains everything. The ****** S word!!
In 12 years of working in the motor trade I have never dealt with such arrogant, rude, incompetent idiots in all my life. This is not a single Sytner dealership I am talking about: Its every single fecking one that I have ever dealt with.

Their sales tactics are nothing short of illegal (especially when it comes to finance), their aftercare is non-existent and their customer service is in general one of the worst in the business in my opinion (and I've dealt with Reg Vardy dealerships on many occaisons so that IS saying something!!)

Once they have your money they don't give a monkeys!

I have plenty of examples of where a dealership is very well run and gives good service, Sytners take them over and the whole place goes to pot. I have mates that have left after one or two days of their place being run by Sytners because it is that bad. The ones that stay must go to some brainwashing camp as they turn into w8nkers overnight!!

Good luck getting it sorted and if all else fails (and it would be a last resort) do what one of my customers did:
At the launch of the old shape Audi A6, you know those evening do's they have where they invite you for champagne and canopes, he staged a protest about the way he had been treated and blocked the entrance with his car that he had covered in a banner stating how they had treated him. They threatened to call the police so he told them to do so but they didn't as it would have caused more of a scene. He got a promise of a replacement car if he went away. He said put it in writing and I will, so they did and he got the new car!!

I dont think they dislike me mate, theyre always very pleasant. Theyre just completely apathetic, not to mention incompetant.

Ive had 2 phone calls from A HQ, they seem to be taking this VERY seriously. So far, they are awaiting a response from A hrgte. Theres a brand spanking A4 cab waiting at A bradford, a new seat is on order along with the parts to change the sills and pillar.

Meanwhile they are carrying out a full investigation and from what i can gather.

Possible end to this fiasco, along with a good shaming of A hrgt in sight

I mentioned Bradford as the car was ordered there. She rang me back to say a courtesy car was waiting..

I cant wait for this to be over lol!

Dude - that is great news - the pictures really did speak for themselves so I would have been VERY surprised if Audi HQ did not support you in this.
A little bit of faith restored in the brand, but not Audi Harrogate.
Worryingly, my car is with Audi West London getting the paint sorted and the bumper replaced adn guess what... yep... part of the Sytner group!
Let's hope they get it right!

Spun it around and quickly informed the dealer principal of one of his employees sales techniques..

My car has all of the red interior though so I was going to have them blend in with that, not sure if it would look odd with plain black seats, but to be fair I think I would prefer it..

L6on if i was you, i would ask for a buy back due to all the problems or replace the car for a new one!! Im sure if the car is new and you have more than three problems with the car you are intitled to a buy back.
