Notice the nice gap between the wing and the lower bumper, and how far back the headlight is. There's no f*****g way they did that without noticing it. There's also strange scuff/scratches on the bumper and light, f**k knows how they did that, trailer maybe? There are building contractors working there just now, but they saw nothing and no cctv, what can you do?

Wing dented/buckled, bumper is cracked, and headlight ******, so possibly they'll need replaced.:banghead: Need to investigate s-line bumper, colour coding etc, trying to throw a positive slant on it.

;) Every positive has a negative mate. That sucks though for sure. Does she work at the vets or visiting for an appointment? If the latter ring the vets and ask if they would ring those who were also there for appointments at a similar time. Unless it's a huge practice there won't be that many, and you like to think they would be quite obliging. Somebody will have seen something. It may well not get you anywhere, but at least you tried.

Good Luck!

Thanks James,

she used to work there, but was there for our pups vacs yesterday.

Having worked there, she was in a good position to speak to various member of staff including one of the senior partners. They said they can't divulge details of people who would have been there at the time - I didn't think patient confidentiality applied here. Without cctv, or any witnesses that's not a line we can pursue. Mind you I never thought of calling them to ask if they'd seen anything, more to beat them into admitting it.

It is a big practice btw, with a large animal hostpital too so there are quite a lot of comings and goings.

Suppose we'll just have to hope whoever did it runs out of Horlicks in the next few days, and comes clean.

Mike.

You have my sympathies. My wifes car got hit a couple of years ago outside our old house. Absolutely no bodywork damage, but look at the nearside wheel:

No idea how on earth anyone could have hit the wheel so hard it buckled the front axle and the control arms without touching the front wing. We had to cut the control arms just to get the wheels straight so it could be loaded onto the breakdown truck. Funnily enough the insurance company then phoned us up to say they believed the damage was malicious as it looked like someone had cut through the front suspension. How we laughed!

I didn't expect them to tell you who was there, but possibly they could have made half a dozen calls to their customers on your behalf...? It's probably a long shot though.

:sadlike: @ Andymac

There's some real a-holes out there! Unbelievable they didnt notice & go into the vets to own up. Fingers crossed someone comes clean for you.
