Looks like I'll be joining Phantom on Saturday for the REVO treatment at Prosport, spoke to Peter today and was impressed with what he had to say. So I'll be following once Phantoms is done, can't wait, I've had my last 3 cars mapped, 8L S3,mk5 GTi and Ed30 GTi so I'm ready for the difference it makes, but still excited. Not used REVO before though only APR so that will be interesting. The rest of the car is standard but I'm going to throw a ITG panel filter in it just in case.

Good choice Charlie, you won't regret it. Had mine done yesterday and been blasting around on A roads all day with a massive smile on my face!

You wait for your next performance mod then:whistle2:

Great choice.
You wont regret it, had mine done 2 weeks, suppose that makes me a REVO veteran!

Boost = 7
Fuel = 9
Timing =7

From what Ive been told Im a bit high on the Timing although the car runs perfect.
I will be getting the Timing set to 5 or 6 at the weekend anyway whether it needs to or not, but leaving the Boost & Fuel settings as they are.

So idealy I will be running.

Boost=7
Fuel=9
Timing= 6

Boost 6 seems to be the nominal setting for a lot of REVO`d car owners however I like that little bit extra `kick` so opted for Boost on 7 as I did on my Golf before this.

Im no expert but Ive spoken to REVO direct on this subject and the 0 -10 limits for all 3 parameters are well within safe limits hence being user definable via the Select+ switch (idiot proof in other words!).

According to REVO they have ran much higher settings on their test mule during the development stages and the 0 -10 limits are well within the limits actualy explored during the R&D stages.

Im sure some of the other guys on here will have a view on preferred REVO settings.

Good luck

cheers
Paul

I'm currently on

Boost 8
Timing 6
Fuel 9

After loading up the software and carrying out lots of runs on the road, those are settings we finished up with. The car was running fine and has a great kick at around 3750 rpm which carries on strong right up to just past 7000. We tried several settings and loaded them onto the Select +, one of which kicks in around 2500 rpm but the power does tail off more quickly.

I've not really had chance to play around with the Select + yet but it's something I'm looking forward to.

Pretty much what we did, almost trial and error but with a good idea on where to start sort of thing.

Interesting you are running Boost=8, might give that a bash. Now that I know you are running Timing=6 thats made my mind up. IIRC I had my REVO`d Mk5 set the same.

Cheers
