Bumped into one of my good friends at a wedding who I met back in my Uni days, he was always a bit of an entrepreneur, coming up with crazy ideas to make money and he promised himself he would make a million quid by the time he hit 30.
I think he finally made it at 32, 2 years late, but he's got there! And to treat himself, he purchased himself an Audi S5 is Sprint Blue (which I'm due a testdrive
) and he also had the reg. plate S5 XXX(his initials) on retention before the car came out, so confident he is of making his millions.
Then he told me yesterday that he brought himself a new reg plate on Monday to go on the car, it reads his last name and he'd been eyeing it up for the last few years... "how much did you pay for the plate" I asked? His reply "Twelve thou-sand pounds!", "twelve grand?!??, are you mad?" was my reply.
Anyways, I'm going to have a blast in this S5 of his, sporting a reg plate which is worth more than my car sometime soon, he must be doing well...
