It looks ok to me. Looks like it's coated in anti-corrosion paint. Unless I'm supposed to be looking at something else?

im am going to fit and just wondered why the paint was funny around the rear springs ?

isn't it an indicator from the factory to say its been checked as mine had the same kind of paint blobs?!

Certain parts of the underside of the car are given a waxy oily coating at the factory to help prevent rusting. The retail name of the product is Waxoyl. When I used to work at my dad's Hyundai garage, customers would have to get their coatings re-applied every year or so for the anti-corrosion warranty to stay valid!! It's horrible gloopy stuff but it does the job.
