i think it's lowered it a lot more than 35mm but it's pretty stupid to drive to the local corner shop in as theres 5 speed bumps there and on the way back but on main roads i think it feels ok. i think it's raised at the back slightly now as i removed all the heavy crap that was in the boot.

Seeing these on my comp (was on my phone yesterday) they look really good, but the tyres look a bit small.

I am tempted to try and find a set of these myself in the future now was they look similar to my current wheels only an inch bigger.

they seem to be pleasing alot of people..i'm surprised i haven't seen them on an another a4.
i know what you mean about the tyres but i thought i'd need them as i wanted to go lower than it is but it wouldn't be drivable..i think when they wear out i'll get some a bit bigger

just been to get the traking done and surprise suprise he din't have a clue what to set it so i said get it as straight as possable and it'd have too do.
any one no what it should be set to..though i think it all depends on how low it is and stuff.

there is a recommended setting but its really a personal preference,

a little toe in can help improve high speed stability and is probably how the car was set up from the factory as its designed to be a comfortable car

a little toe out can improve the steering feel and make it turn in sharper, but at the same time will increase the wear on the inside edge of the tyre.

I'm very surprised the guy didnt have autodata or something to look up audis recommended setting though. I'll try n dig it out when i get home if no-ones given you the right value before then

he did have the factory setting on the lazer computer thingy but said it was no good cause it's been lowered.or is that ******** and it should be set at factory settings no matter what?

yup, toe settings are independant of lowering. On some cars (ie ones with mac struts) lowering it can properly hump the steering geometry, however the A4's multilink setup is much better in that regard and you'll find the steering geometry will be pretty close to stock even though its lowered unless you go to the extremes.

well it low but no crazy low..i'll go back and tell him he's a fool and to set it to standard then.
nice one

Guys if any one after a set of these (4 rims) I have a set with no tyres for £150 well two have tyres but they are no good for the A4 as they are too big.

reason being is that it will make your car look younger.

yeah but the number plate will say its older so why bother.same reason why i lowered it and changed the wheels i spose..personal preference.:)

reason is the pre-facelift ones look dated, imo.
the facelift-type units are much cleaner looking with their 4 horizontal lamps, without the small square reversing lamp "shoe-horned in"

still, ya pays ya money...

gonna be spraying the boot any body got any ideas which of these colours is correct.if either.
aliminium silver matalic or just plain silver matalic.
thats from halfrauds by the way. it's the 95 a4 quattro in this thread if that helps
muchos grazzyass

there should be a paintcode book on the shelf which gives you the audi code for the halfrauds name, compare this with whatever color code your car is...

how do i find out what colour it is..sorry if i'm being an idiot

now even cooler with no crappy spoiler
