F1... Whos your money on this year?

Yeah it's the one of heikki on race day on the last page, my mates been round tonight & he's a graphic designer I was showing them to him & he started mucking about in photoshop with it, I have no idea how to use it & now that I've watched him at work with it it's confused me even more, I swear the mouse was moving at a million MPH!!

oh thats true. and im not wining. just showing you that ur "alleged" fact about schuey saying before his 5th championship that someone younger and faster beats him he would quit. is in fact of fabrication on ur behalf. as if that was the truth as you say then he would have gone when alonso beat him twice. not to mention mika hakkinen twice.

I know you shouldn't read too much into practice, but Hamilton looks racey don't he! Whats the chances of another wet race...?
 
Well you know what I'm after, another masterclass in wet weather driving!
isn't this circuit quite well suited to the Mclarens if I remember right?
I'm looking forward to quali tommorrow anyway.
 
Just had a look at the weather for the weekend and it should stay dry. Halfway point of the season and theres nothing in it between the top 4. Should be a good second half! :yes:
 
The quali result will do me, it'd be nice to see a Mclaren 1-2 tommorrow!
 
Should be a good race. Hoping Massa can keep Hamilton honest but I think Lewis will just romp off in the distance. He just seems so hooked up! The same can't be said for Kimi!!!
 
Oh I don't know if Kimi can win it. He seemed all over the place yesterday. I think its Hamilton's to lose. I'd be suprised if he don't win it. With Massa in 2nd and maybe Kimi in 3rd. Saying that... stranger things have happened!
 
You know what, I fell asleep 5 laps in and woke up at Glock's accident and was wide awake since! Lewis was in a league of his own! His last stint was very impressive! Ferrari seem to have lost touch a bit and need to get a move on! Piquet was the last person I expected to be on the podium...! With the exception of Fisi and Sutil lol Got to say, it didn't go the reds way but was a very good race to watch.

What do we recon for this weekend then? Normally, the Hungarian GP isn't a great one but you never know the way this season has been going! Hopefully Ferrari have sorted themselves out!
 
I think it will be a boring race, I cannot see Hamilton losing it, unless Heike gets in front of him.

You don't have to LIKE Hamilton bacause you are British at all, just don't HATE him! He's representing our country at the end of the day, and doing it well, what's there not to like?

i said i dont like him. not likeing someone and hating someone are world apart. anyways i dont like him for his first season rule bending and his whole "im in this to race. blah blah blah" but his dad is all about the money, money, money. he fills us with ******** about he just wants to race and is comitted to mclaren. if ferrari push money in his face he`d be off. yeah fair enough money talks and to a point i dont blame him. but its the ******** from his mouth i dont like (not hate) dont like.

anways. i cant wait for alonso to join ferrari next year and show leiw for the amature that he is. lets face it, the world champ that is kimi is crap so far and massa cant even stay on the road (silverstone 08) so who else has a car to beat mclaren..err no-one. hence him lookng better than he actual is. not to mention he robbed kimi of point when he ran up his **** in the pit lane. wtf was that all about?

I was hoping you would have notice my bit of humour in the brackets of my reply, if it makes you feel better, I apologise for making the accusation that you Hate Lewis. :o.k:

As for Alonso, I don't doubt his ability, but surely you have to rate Lewis on some level to be able to race wheel to wheel with Alonso in his Rookie season, they we're both in the same car!
Not too sure what's going on at Ferrari, like you say, Massa can't stay on the track, seems very uncomfortable without the driving aids like traction control and engine braking this year. As for Kimi, we all know he's fast, he just doesn't know how to set a car up properly, probably relying on his mechanics after giving a bit of feedback.
 
a brilliant quali for mclaren, personally I hope they do drive off into the distance and make it boring for the non Mclaren fans like I'm sure the Ferrari fans would if they had the top two places on the grid.
 
i'm not a big lewis fan but don't doubt his talents, you never see him stuggle to overtake he always manages it somehow. As for money and going to Ferrari, I don't think he would, he is what he is because of Mclaren. I think Kimi has lost interest, when he wants too he is quick, Alonso always makes the best of a bad car and I agree if he was in a Ferrari then it would make for interesting racing.

Your right there. He always manages to find a gap and his touch on the brakes is unbelievable! I think Kimi has lost interest too. Past few races he's been mediocre. No doubt if Alonso does end up in a Ferrari he'll give the guys a good run for their money. TBH I'd rather see Vettel or Kubica in that seat.
 
you gotta remember were was mclaren before alonso joined? at the hands of kimi. both cars were dog ****. now there good again and you gotta remember there stil using the most of last years technology that alonso helped find. i mean alonso was world champ twice, then left and renault did ****. he`s now back at renault are there like in the top 8 most races now.
oh and just to add, ive just taken some pics to prove i infact like mclaren. have donw for about 8yrs since mika hakkinen. just dont like shamilton thats all.

We get it you don't like hamilton, don't know why you need to call him shamilton tho, anyway what does it matter what he is like , it's his driving that matters and that's it, I think alonso comes across as an ******** but I still think he's a great driver. Like your collection by the way.

Was a good race tho. Massa had a blinding start! Shame it ended as it did. Closed the gap between the top 3 now. See what this 3 wek gap will bring.

anyways, great race for a change, i like the edge of the seat action just like it used to be with schuey vs hakkinen.

nice to see heikki win it and shame massa blow up but thats racing. massa owned shamilton fromt he first corner and even tho he had a flat tyre, massa had him fair and square.

what ****** me off the most is no matter who`s winning the race or who gets the fasest lap, they always show shamilton. on pictures, headlines and videos. WTF is that about? i no its a british tv show and he`s british but what happened to un biased commentary? even if massa win the championship, they will still focus on lewis. just like they always cut short the interveiws to find time to chat with lewis.

anyways like i said, i prefur alonso`s driving and he makes the most of whatever car he is in and like ross brawn said, he will be champ once again and lets face it, if he does go to ferrari next year or the year after. lewis will fade away and be forgotton about just like when schuey was in ferrari, u never really heard of any other driver but him in the headlines on british media and he was german.
