hi does anybody know if it is possible to buy the metal dashboard trims from audi i am after the brushed aliminium trims

£600 and im getting mugged off in another thread for getting a full trim set for all doors dash and console for a tenner!!

for that price who gives a **** if its the wood trim!!

All I said was you could have got the trim you wanted for not much more than the hideous wood. I was ****** off I could only get £18 for mine, I was hoping to subsidise the collossal £200 I paid for the fishscale, but looking on ebay they don't go for much.
Having said that you couldn't pay me to have fake wood trim in an Audi, it's just one of my pet hates (nothing personal), to me it would make more sense to have tartan or paisley trim.

I have the aluminium trim, from a 2000 S4.

Just the dash trim though, not the doors.

I want carbon fibre for mine.

Looks like my only option is to buy the sticky back carbon fibre (not the printed vinyl stuff) and cover the original trim. Still going to cost but not close to £600. Recon I can do it for about £80

Yeah, i had the wood trim in my old a4 1.8t and the colour of the car was a nasty aqua marine. Probably why it was cheap!!!

Dunno if it was standard or not but my S4 has the nice carbon trim all round.

I bought 2 new front door trims from audi to replace the dinted and scuffed ones, aluminium fish scale cost me £20 per door, you could buy the dash trim from siena then go to audi and get the other 4 for £80, I did see a full carbon trim on ebay for £150 a while ago, and it didnt sell!

Yes I think someone was just guessing, I just got a price of £180 for the compete set (doors & dash) from Southampton Audi.

Wood trim gets my vote also,i really like it ,some came with my leather interior and if i did'nt already have S4 carbon trim i would definatly fit it in my car !!

I bought my carbon trim second hand for £50.The wood trim goes well with some colours but i agree it looks odd with some colour combo's !!

Just checked the original sales bill for a 96 1.8T sport and the walnut trim was a £371 optional extra. Also the passenger airbag was £304,auto transmision £1315,climate control in lieu £1004 front armrest £85, leather trim £1315 and metalic paint £340 all plus vat !!

When bought my A4 had the textured aluminium trim and a blue dash/interior , in my book it looked ghastly as it really didn't go with the dark blue leather.....
Bought a complete set of unused/totally mint RHD wood trim off Ebay from a German seller for approx £30 and fitted that, transformed the interior look and one of my favourite mods tbh.
I do think that the aluminium trim can look good with some colour schemes but with my car it just looked awful...............
