Parking Dent AAAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Ah nnnnoooo mate,

is it bad? which panel is it in?

:scared2: I take it it was no fault of your own!?
Gutting when that happens mate... had it done to my old A4!It was done within the space of 15mins when parked at work. The person hit the car and then drove off to another parking bay!!! Didn't manage to catch them either, despite there been CCTV!!! It never works when something happens!!!

Cheers guys,

Its on the F'ing wheelarch.

Its either a parking dent or some sproggs twanged it with his handlebars. Kids are always peering into it... :(

Sorry for you matey, happened to my Type R, kid peering in from his bike, micro thin Honda metalwork and handlebar put a big dent in the door.

Worst thing was , hadn't seen it, car was up for sale and sent a guy some photo's and he sent an E-Mail enquiring about the dent in the door. What dent, but there it was, got the dent man out to fix it.

Oh I will get it sorted... I just money down the drain to my mind thats all:beee:

THe other thing is. I was going to take it to Audi to sort, but reading Editions dealings with Harogate Audi, i may just pass on that..

So i take it it is the rear wheel arch? If so i'm sure a dent man can do it

Seen them do some crazy things to put cars right, they have the technology!

Best of luck though mate, hate to think of a Ibis S with a dent, why can't happen to those horrible blue or black ones! :beerchug:

Its to the fron wheel arch mate, you cant notice it letting your eyes pass over the car, but i know its flamin well there AAAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHzibubwellpissedoff

Just ask a dent man to come round to give you a free quote see what he can do.

I had one a couple of years back on the Cliosport , it was on the pillar between the two doors , was 3cm long , but narrow , i would of thought it needed to be filled and sprayed , but the bloke sorted it.

Its worth letting a dent man look at it. I have used a guy in Chesterfield who trades under Dent Devils a number of times and he does excellant job (PM me and ill et you have his number), I also had one on my old 306, it was on the rear quarter panel on the crease and he removed it perfectly.
Post a quick pic up of the dent mate and ill give you a better opinion.

Remember there are some dent men out there than dont know what there doing and could make it worse.

Yeh L6on i would strongly advise against taking it there!!!

I had a dint taken out of the g/f's old car that was slight but on a crease, took it to Specialist cars of Malton who get a man to come in every week on a certain day (cant remember which!!) Was something like £50 and he did a flawless job.

Only other bodyshop i could recommend is Impact in Brighouse they specialise in German cars and have been very very impressed by their work in the past. They are abit pricey but to me its well worth it.

Where was it parked btw when i got done.

p.s think i saw your car last week coming inot harrogate from killinghall, look ace!!!

Do you mean Dent Devils in Chesterfield????
If so I disagree with your comment, I have used them ( cant remember his name, theres two of them) on 3 previous car including the A3 which had a few trolley dents on the doors and quarter panels which he removed flawlessly

I got one too a few weeks ago, get my car back on tuesday looking fresh - Yee haaw

why can't happen to those horrible blue or black ones! :beerchug:

Cheeky

I had a very nice dent from a 4X4 door on my door, dent guy managed to tickle it out OK. Luckily the woman who did it owned up, so it only cost me a bit of my time to get it sorted.

Black ex-dented door :moa:

Sorry to hear about your dent, might be worth asking one of your local independent car dealers who they use on stock cars.

You could always try Chipsaway. I have used a guy in Horsforth (Leeds) and always had a fantastic job done. There will be one who deals with your area just check the website out and give them a ring...

http://www.chipsaway.co.uk/

These are the guys alot of the Stealers use to repair transit damage before you get your new mota...

Got one last week on the drivers door.

ASDA car park dent or Kids handlebars, who knows.
P!ssed off though.

Luckily Ive got a local dent guy who is excellent.
He go a few dents out of my old CTR which other people said couldt be done without painting.
Its still £60 down the drain though.

Mattandrew no was talking about H'gate Audi.
