How to check if seats are heated?

Without being in the car, obviously. Any differences in the plug or something?

Checked the seats, they have 3 plugs on the bottom, red, yellow and black. Any help?

Easiest way to check is to see if it has heated seat switches.

If yours is a facelift they'll be underneath the climate control, and if it's a pre-facelift it'll be above the radio either side of the traction control light.

Can you have a look at the ones in the car and see how many plugs they have?

Or you could take the seats apart and see if they have the heated pads, but I don't think thats really a sensible idea

There should be a holder underneath for all the connectors
If i remember correctly there are 4 plugs as there are spaces for 4 in the holder, if yours has three id imagine theyre not heated mate

Should have a Green one aswell buddy, the green must be for the heated part

Right, I thought you were being a bit simple if you couldn't see the switches!

The green connector should be the one for the heated seats if I remember correctly.

Hes got full black leather Recaros in the house, Yellow and Black in the car :thumbsup:

Yup, i was told they were heated but never mind they were free anyway.

Gonna sell the black and try to get hold of silver to swap with the yellow.

Hi,

I have a complete black heated leather interior, including door cards, except for the passenger seat available if anyone is interested. I had a faulty passenger seat and ended up having to buy a complete interior...

I may also be prepared to split if say anyone wants a drivers seat replacement.

Keep the yellow mate! Silver is so common on black S3's.

Sell the black leather for atleast £600 if its in good condition and spend the money on a remap!!
