Anyone lowered their Quattro by 35mm?

If so could you please post some piccies up of it.

i am tempted on 35mm springs but i am edging towards the coilovers route but that will be expensive.
 
Coilovers mate ;) saving for mine now, prob FK stainless. Don't think the 35mm is a big enough drop tbh.
 
It isn't but if you go more than 35mm you'll need drop links etc.
 
Robin I'd stick with the springs, less expensive and more than enough.

I have brand new never used set of H + R springs that are for your car sat in my garage waiting for a good home....

Unless the A3 is different to the S3 you don't need droplinks or new arbs as the driveshaft isn't anywhere near.....mine can't get any lower at the back and it scrapes like hell everywhere anyway.

You can't get stance on springs unless you're using a grinder to shorten them :laugh:

I am not worried about the driveshafts, its getting the camber back to standard once the car is lowered pass 35 mm.
 
heya,

i have just recently slammed my a3 on FK highsport coiloivers, its on the last spring at the back and about 60mm in the front! drives like a dream!!!

will post pics once i got the car cleaned!
