I know what you're saying - drove the S3 for the first time today and I was so impressed. I loved my 3.2 but the S3 is a different experience. The DSG and the 3.2 was so smooth and refined and I would probably prefer that again in about 20 years time! But for the moment, the S3 is all i can think about! Let me know when you're next hitting the track, I want to come along!

They had a new S3 in venetian purple with black optics back and 2 tone leather in in Gilders Sheffield. Took a couple of pics... looked great... for a bird. Has a smoother climate control unit too.

Also, on a seperate note, I was surprised at how much boot space is inthe cabrio.

And the rear diffuser - it looks a little different

yeah, I liked the rims too... I think the rear diffuser was a bit fatter.. other than that tho.. the only big difference was the softer edges and labelling of the climate and the lightclusters.

The arches look fatter too, they did say they were modified on the press release.

is it me or do some the interior switched look a bit squint like the '-' on the aircom?

Diffuser does look bigger, arches will give people more space for spacers LOL

Both sprint blue, both on H&R springs and spacers!

Hopefully the day will be arranged for the second week or so in September so it gives me time to pick the car up and sort the mods out beforehand!

yeah, that pic from the front does make the arches look more flaired! Didnt notice it whilst I was there, but then I was trying not to look like a weirdo snapping cars in the showroom!

Funnily enough, just been doing the sums to see if I can upgrade to the newer model - think I will wait till I've had a look over JamS3's, but might start getting some prices.
Anyone know more about the magentic ride... can you lower them??????

Hmm would poss say no to the lowering with magnetic ride but you may be able to!

The magnetic ride in the TT-S I had was pertty average.... and it got a good caning... I'd personally spend my £1k somewhere else.

Dealer said to me Jamie not to bother aswell which is well honest. Most motoring mags also say its not much different and money is better spent elsewhere.
