Can anyone recommend a detailer as I'd like to get the wifes car done, its pearl black and pretty much covered in swirl marks as we bought it as an ex-demo and its been on my mind to get it done for a while, I'd have a go myself but I just can't seem to find the time now that we have 2 black cars :(

If you can recommend anyone and give an idea of cost this would be much appreciated Guys.

With you there, mate.
First time we've had two black cars, and it'll be the last.
I'm finding it impossible to keep both clean at the same time.

LOL..Yep I'm in the same boat, 2 black cars... Claire's only gets done every other week though! I'm keen but not that keen!

To give you an idea of cost I paid £230 cash to get mine done, that was inside as well. Washed, clayed, polished and wax'd.

And that included some paint correction on the rear bumper, basically some wet sanding where some idiot in the works car park reversed into me.

I've booked the Guy recommended for Mon 21/07, he sounds like a top fella so will let you know how I get on - £175 for all exterior treatment and some paint correction due to bird poo etc, I'll wager Clare (the wife) doesn't even notice the difference !!

Thanks for our help Guys

If she does tell the difference never divorce her..... not that you ever will.... but... ahahah just joking!!

Post some pics afterwards!

Dave is a top guy and really knows his stuff, you won't be disappointed! ;)

Dave telephoned last Sunday to say he was unwell and couldn't make the planned appointment the following morning and would be in touch to re-book.

One week later plus an unanswered text and still no response, he may be good but reliable or couteous he isn't.

Decided to save myself £175 and spent the day washing and polishing the car myself - it may still have some swirl marks and bird poo paint damage but it's damn clean and I now have £175 saved towards the inevitable DMS remap for my own car.

Thanks for the recommendation anyway, thouight I'd post an update.
