I was in a relationship for nearly 3 years with my ex, and when she broke it up I was very down about it. She gave me the usual crap, like, she wants to be single, things arent working out etc etc. A few weeks later I found out the real truth why she ended it....another bloke. As mad as it might sound, as soon as I found that out I felt so much better, gave closure on it all for me and really helped me move on. Since that day ive been having the time of my life. Nights out with the lads, been on LOADS of dates with some very sexy ladies, go a huge circle of great friends, found new hobbies, basically done things that I never could of done with her coz of the way she was. At the end of the day though, its all about what makes us happy and what makes us happiest, and thats all that counts. You can be single and happy, and on the other side of the coin be in a relationship and happy, its whatever suits the inidividual. For now im single (with a nice girl im kinda seeing right now but nowt serious) and im loving it.

To get back on topic lol...

At 20 (Im closing in on 37 now) I bought my first house, £41,500 for a 2 bed semi in a reasonable area, paid £11,500 cash and had a £30k mortgage, furnished the whole place without loans and had my 1985 2.2E Audi Coupe (this was in 1990). All my mates were envious but I had worked hard for it.
I was like a dog with 2 ***** :D

Then I met the missus, got engaged and married within a year, she made me get rid of the Audi for a Bluebird :( moved to a bigger house and had kids. She turned into a lazy bitch from hell that I had to put up with for 11 years before SHE kicked me out.

To cut a long story short, I had everything and only debt was a wee mortgage when I met her, she had nothing, after 11 years she now has everything and I had nothing, living with my mother at 32, had to pack in my business and work for someone.
Had 5 years of single life which had its good and bad then met my current woman and have started to build stuff back up.
Currently live in a rented house, with the burd, both work full time but the ex constantly hounds me for more money (Ive been paying in excess of my maintenance since day 1) and uses the kids to try get her own way... Its a fecking nightmare!

Anyway Im happy in my relationship but do wish I was single when Im out on the shot and bump in to a hot 21 year old wanting me to take her home but I resist :( and go home to my burd :)

Marraige can only end in 2 ways...
Death or divorce, death is easier and a damn sight cheaper lol

Having said that Im engaged again lol
 
You wanna get yourself down south then Missviper!

sniperlover, the fact that you have it all in your own place... she would have no right coming in and telling you where to start putting things, how to decorate etc... just don't sacrifice any of it because the colours may not match LOL :thumbsup:

I had an A4 2.0TDI 170, loved it. Now have a dog and a baby on the way and currently have a Vectra :-( however, having a family around you when you get home is the best thing ever :thumbsup:
