After being on order since the middle of March time, the delivery day has finally arrived, so i thought i'd show you some pictures of what i'm told is one of the first S-line's in the country (apart from the 3 that dealers have). Just a quick question for all S-line owners, do you have a grill badge????? as mine has only come with the side badges on.

Nice motor, the new S-Lines along all the range doesnt have a S-Line grill badge anymore, it only has 2 S-Line badges on each side of the front wing.

Also does the new S-Line bumper have the grey bottom middle fin like the A4 S-Line? or is it body coloured?

looks very nice, my sline has a front grill badge but doesnt have the side ones where you do, i have an indicator there!

Best of luck with the car.

Not sure if they've changed the badging for the facelift, but all current S-Lines come with the badge on the grille too - even if it is a quattro.

Are those Xenons btw? Would love to see what the LED DRL looks like in the dark if you have them!

Lovely that - get a duster to that console display though !!

I will, it wasn't prepped from the garage very well at all, as it was a bit of a rush today

cheers for the replies

anyone know if i can get alloy pedals for it??? as thats one of the first things i want to tidy up on it.

I like, I always have had a soft spot for cabriolets. I presume the interior is leather/alcantra ?

Hi Mat:thumbsup:

Looks ****** fantastic :hubbahubba:you have made me all excited again (more sleepless nights dreaming of the big day). I know build has been completed & was awaiting shipping at the end of last week, with any luck will be collecting some time next week although I had intended to contact the dealer today. Pity about the S-Line badge on the grill although plenty for sale on flea bay. I am going to get a remap on mine next month probably a Revo & will also be arranging for the DSD to be activated on the RNS-E.
Hope you have as much enjoyment from it as I intend to have. Will post some pics when it eventualy gets here.

Cheers mate :kissmyrings:

hi guys,

I thought that if you order the non smoking pack you get a flip up cover over the 12v power supply????
i got a fake lighter type thing???????? looks a bit crap to be honest, anyone know where i could get something better to go there??

and yes that is a lock on the glovebox :sm4:

I wonder if the lockable glovebox is only on the CAB.

That fake lighter really looks crap, I wonder if that's standard on all the new A3s or again maybe it's just on the CAB. That's the roof button next to it isn't it?

it is yes.

going to look at getting the seat front lip to see if that will go on also.

Is there anyway i can get the central locking to be full closure, so the windows go up on locking??

I thought that was standard. After you lock the car press and hold the lock button and they should go up.

I dont mind the new 12V sockets if it actually fits the Audi torch.

Looks like all new S-lines are being finished without the front grille badge anymore, my A4 S-line arrived 4 weeks ago without one but I wasn't sure if it should have had it or not!

It must also be standard for the silver grey finish to the rear bumper:

I've got bird sh*t on my bonnet which has laken the laquer off already, anyone know how to remove the stain?

Cheers

Totally love the new A4 S-Line front end, the car has such a nice planted and aggressive stance.

That deep sea blue is an awesome colour on the A4!
Sorry to hear about the bird cr@p damaging it already though!

Hi guys,

wondering if i can get the cupra splitter to fit on the front?? also does anyone know how to get the full closure to work????

The Deep Sea Blue is really nice. I wasn't too keen on it at first but that looks really good.

Stotty2 - lovely looking A4 that. Are there any badges anywhere indicating it's an S-Line?

Yup, shame about the fake lighter instead of the flap over the socket - still a nice looking motor though matmaxedout. If you can't get the full closure to work as per Roswell's info, I'd pop into the dealer and get them to sort it - might be a coding issue which wouldn't take more than 10 mins to sort I'd have thought.

FWIW,
Ive seen a load of s-lines today on transporters and in the audi dealer and they have the s-line badging on the front grill. Even took a photo ;)

Yes there are S-line badges on the front wings (where the indicator lenses were on the previous model)

There are the usual badges on the steering wheel, embossed in the front seats and on the door sills:

oempl.us are selling a unit for the cabrio that does full closure from the remote.

Audi A3 (8P) Cabrio

$279.00

Does it bother you that the button to operate the roof on your A3 Cabrio is so awkward to handle? With our Cabrio-Plus module, your A3 gains several additional features and will really stand out when on the move!

Installation is so easy. You don´t need to remove any interior panels on the car and it is not necessary to cut any wires. All you have to do is to connect some wires in the trunk near the Battery.

The most important features are:
- Roof can be operated with the remote key fob
- A quick touch of the roof button opens or closes the roof completely. No long hold is necessary.
- Roof can be operated up to a driving speed of 37mph.
- No interuption of the movement caused by starting the engine or locking the doors.
- Warning signals will flash on the LED mirror blinker while operating the roof.
- All individual functions can be disabled.
- All security functions of the car remain unchanged.
- Ability to update the module for future innovations.
- Invisible removable. No error codes are recorded by the car.
- Standby consumption is under 0,03mA (<0,36 Watt at 12V voltage)

Installation instructions here. Looks like it is a Kufatec unit.

$279 from oempl.us or €249 from Kufatec. Looks like oempl.us is the cheaper option.

Here's the Kufatec spiel:

i use some 3000 grit wet and dry paper to get bird stains out of my paint - but go easy though - too much rubbing and you will go right through - then a bit of meguars scratch-X to bring the shine back

Ooo I like it, certainly is unique with the 'wing' style LED DRL as opposed to the ones on the bottom. Only gripes is that it doesnt have a clear casing so you can see each individual LEDs like the A4.

Mat if you decide to get that roof closer unit from states then let me know as I would also like one. We could save on postage if two are ordered.
Delivery end next week for mine. At ****** last.

nice pics - bit disapointed audi haven't given the 'lowly' A3 the more colourful DIS display as used in the A4 and above - bit silly I think, instead they have ripped off the white on black effect used on mercs??? Plus am i right in thnking rest of dash lights up red at night still, meaning it now doesn't match?
