Audi-Sport Road trip in August - Switzerland/Italy

I'm all booked up.

This is what I've booked:

Eurotunnel - 8:50 departure on the Friday and 22:42 return on the Sunday. £136

Interlaken -Weisses Kreuz £94.40

Bormio - Hotel Baita dei Pini 180EUR

(another hotel I noticed had rooms was Nevada Hotel however there is no mention of parking. Is is cheap though at £95ish)

Did you go for the insurance as well because mine came in at £112? :think:

I'm all up for walkie talkies! Guessing they have to be the same kind to receive eachother on the channels?! I've been meaning to get a pair for a while because they come in handy on little trips with a couple of cars. I'm up for the cobras. Recon we can go for a group buy? There's a few on ebay at £38 inc. delivery.

Well, if we all stick to Cobra MT-800's, then some can rent, some can buy.
 
Kool. I'll be getting mine from ebay next week then. What else am I going to need? Things that are needed in other countries? I remember reading about a first aid kit...

My only exception is I am booked on the 09:50 train on Monday 25th.

Both Hotels above booked, and the outbound train!

Someone asked me something today and it made me think! Just thought I'd make sure with you guys. When you book a car on the shuttle, it doesn't matter if you've got 1 or 10 people in it yea? Cost will be the same?

That walkier-talkie is a good idea by the way... Proper GUMBALL rally style. We should have taken them to the french trip too.... wouldve have been a good laugh with them.
Plus with alot of you guys going they are really going to come in handy.:icon_thumright:

Cool, where did you get them from?

Yeah, people should be ok booking late (Steve my mate is having co-pilot issues so will have to book late) but it would be good to get as many people as possible booked soon, less likely to be problems then.

Wasn't planning on bringing any cash, you can use your card for everything, but it probably would be sensible to bring a £100 or so worth of EUR and CHF.
