Yep, but assuming all the obvious is in order.... Snap his hands off!! :)

I dont personally believe it is, or can possibly be legit, but I hope for you it is.. Maybe he won the lottery and wants to make room for his fleet of Astons ASAP :lmfao:

Scam or autotrader have missed a digit out from the front

I guarentee you it's a scam. That good old 'only contact me via dirtyscam@loser.com, my phone doesn't work'.

I wonder how many people get caught out with these things?

Why dont autotrader filter this **** out? :)

Same with Ebay isn't it. It's obvious to the rest of us but they're more soncerned about getting your money than protecting your safety.

I found another one, was up for £4000 2005 model. Again email contact only. I've contacted the person to find out exactly what the issue witht he car is and they tell me everything is in order. Also confirmed the price 3-4 times with them. I've rant eh car through the DVLA check site and everything came back ok. I'm still however very wary...

my dad got me to enquire about a merc a while ago which was listed in the same way, it's fairly obvious once you get past the first couple of emails when they say you have to pay their shippers who will hold the money until you take delivery or some such b0ll0cks!

Yeah same kind of scenario however, the money is to be transfered via "eBays Vehicle Purchase Protection Program" (no such thing as far as I am aware, I see this as a BIG scam) Who hold the money until you say release it...
I am however currently waiting to be contacted by eBay...

yeah, as has the original post. They should be reported.
I have the full registration of the first posting, wonder if anything could be done about it. Either for using false information and/or trying to scam people.

Yeah Ive seen a few like that, usually they say the car is abroad and they will ship it bla bla....if you report it to Autotrader they will remove it, just takes them a little while to sort out.
