Chrome Mirror Caps (S4?)

I really like the look of these chrome mirror housings but cannot afford a few hundred for them,
does anyone know of any decent alternatives to the genuine ones? seen some on ebay but never sure of the quality if these things,
do the b5.5versions fit the b5? the look the same!

Facelift and pre-facelift mirrors are different, the outer part of the mirror is more angular on the facelift model, so the 2 aren't interchangeable.

Have a look on ebay, plenty of chrome mirror caps on there, the matt/brushed aluminium finish are a lot harder to find though for the B5.
 
The ebay silver ones look gash.

Just buy OEM, they look good.
 
plastic in-pro ones fitted to my old one car, i liked them

Mine are not covers, they are actually cast aluminium.

I believe you can get plastic, aluminium-look covers from Audi though.
 
plastic audi ones are for later rs4 cabriolet models so wont fit a b5
in-pro ones are replacement casings , chrome plated plastic, not glue on covers, and in my opinion are a reasonable alternative to o.e
 
Mine cost just under £600 the pair.
 
My S4 came with plastic chrome coloured caps when I bought it. Had the car nearly two years now and they look fine. They don't look plastic. Give the In-Pro ones a go.
 
the wheels i want for the audi cost the same (with boots) as your mirrors!! lol

madness!
