Could be wrong but I think the problem with postcodes is only a software problem & could easily be solved Tom Tom used to be the same, which was solved by downloading an aftermarket full post free upgrade.
The Ford one is the way it makes sense to me!! Pulling back for up and forward to change down!!!

FWIW, I never used the paddles in my DSG.
Which made Audi's up/down pattern even more annoying.
Also, pretty suprised none of the tuning firms have built a program for the DSG box that stops it from changing up, thought that would be quite a seller

When im having a leisurely drive home from work on the expressways, then i see some dickhead in a corsa in my mirror flashing me to get out the way, foot just goes down a little more on the accelerator and makes them disappear in my mirror
I honestly (no, really) believe it's the best all round model in the Audi range. Practical, compact, great cabin, quick, 4WD stability, relatively economical, lower insurance than a Golf GTI, prestige image, looks great, good second hand residuals and it's a rare car.
I agree with all of this apart from the last 4 words. An A3 is not a rare car in any guise.
I get annoyed by people who sit in the wrong lane then as soon as you give them a flash to get out of the way they try and prove a point by putting their foot down. What point? That you're going slow but can go faster if you want to? Huh?!
If Audi ever make a 200bhp diesel A4 Avant, I'd be interested.

I'm not in the "wrong" lane. I'm in the lane that goes the way i want to go home. I drive to the limit, it ****** me off something rotten when im behind someone doing 30 in a 60. If im already at 60/70 then theres some baghead in a crap car trying to make me move over (when there's not always a gap) then i will put my foot down.
