I'm looking to put some RS6 style alloys (prob 18inch, not sure if 19 will fit) on my 2004 A4 TDI Sport. Looking into what is available, there seem to be alot of these wheels with different off sets (35-45) and stud diameters (100-112). My current standard wheels state off set is 45 and are 17inch. I'm not sure how to measure for the stud diameter (poss being a bit thick), I've measured the distance from centre of one bolt to centre of opposite and don't get the 100 or 112 which seem to be the measurments given for these aparently geniune OEM alloys. Basically the look I'm going for is very much the same as with the B7 S lines, which I believe are 18inch. Don't know if these will fit straight on but assume so.

Can anyone tell me what offset and stud diameter I need and if there is leeway on the offset, if so how much?

Thanks in advance.

The PCD is 112, and an offset of 42 - 45 should be fine.

I have just bought a set of 18" RS6's and am hoping they will fit straight on - will post when they come and I fit them (hopefully!):icon_thumright:

Brillaint, thanks for the info mate. I can't decide on 18 or 19's. Would be good to see a pic of your car once the new wheels have been fitted too, if you get the chance.

They are coming this week I hope! I need to get the tyres removed and then refurb them myself which is probably going to take a few weeks with work and family commitments and then save up for new rubber :faint: So it may be a little while before I get any pics. Unless of course I get impatient this week and do a trial fit!! If I do I will let you know.

19's would look good but 18's were a more than acceptable compromise for me in terms of look and ride against wheel and tyre costs. New baby coming this week so need to try and keep some ride comfort

Sorry forgot to say are you after OEM wheels or replicas? Theres loads of replica 18 and 19's on ebay, quite a few genuine 18's but genuine 19's are a bit scarcer.

Right they came today! And me being me had to try them! So heres a couple of pics for your info! I am pretty chuffed with them for what I paid! I will keep them on until the weekend or so to make sure I am totally happy with them before I invest any money in them.

I am going to have the tyres removed (2 need replacing anyway) and then refurb them myself. They are in pretty good nick but there are a few kerb marks and a refurb will make them mint again.

I know it would benfit from a lower and stuff, but thats gonna have to wait awhile.

Let me know what you think. :icon_thumright:

I think it's looking great mate. Maybe I just need 18's too then. Still undecided! I'm looking for OEM really - I know there's some good replicas out there, but I'm not that sure I will know whether I'm buying good ones or ones made of chocolate if I get online lol.

Do you have a new born now then? It's been about a week or so hasn't it?

Bet you've not taken them off for the refurb tho! I know once on, I'd prob leave them myself - your kurbing doesn't look bad at all.

:o.k: I am pleased with them, as mentioned elsewhere the car needs lowering now, but one thing at a time! I only considered OEM - I have heard mixed reports about replica's, but I like all my stuff to be genuine anyway where possible.

Lol I haven't taken them off yet no! I need to soon cos' one of the tyres is getting close to the limit but I can't bring myself to at the moment!! I will soon tho' to begin the refurb.

:yahoo: to the new born! Wife had a 7lb 1 oz baby girl on Saturday, we have named her Emma! I am biasied of course, but she is absolutely gorgeous, and even tho' she is 6 days old she already has me totally wrapped around her little finger, which is worrying! They both stayed in for 5 days, getting home last night. Lets just say I don't think things will ever be the same again ....... my spare time has officially ended. It's been over a week since I even washed the car ........ :sign_omg:
