Correct me if I am wrong, but wouldnt the the price change make ordering some trim levels cheaper?

Take a 1.4 TFSI S-Line for example

Old Pricing
Base + Sport + S Line
£15,600 + £2,000 + £1,800 = £19,400

New Pricing

Base + S Line

£15,700 + £3,400 = £19,100

Any info on what features you get with each trim level newsboy? Especially the S-Line trim as you seem to know quite alot about the new facelift

It does say 'Upgrade RRP from Standard'

So all prices are how much it ll cost to upgrade from standard.

Newsboy can you please edit your posts on the numerous threads you have started (which I'm sure could've fitted on one thread as they are related) to get rid of the [FONT='Arial','sans-serif'].

Also STOP USING CAPITALS.

Lol, ive got to agree. I really appreciate the information but it isnt half difficult to read.

Would it be possible in addition to fixing it, to put the entire contents of the pdf document in one post, please?

Thanks

Has anyone got this PDF who wouldn't mind emailing me a copy, please? Waiting for Audi seems to be a drawn out process!! If you PM, I'll reply with my email address.

TIA

Dave.

I spoke to my dealer yesterday about brochures and he said " no idea when they're coming...but there is definately a price increase " ( as shown above ). Doesn't the above also make the 140 TDi s-line nigh on £500 higher than the outgoing model ? And my dealer also said " no leather on the S-line"

Anyone know for sure ?

Vienna leather upholstery and 18" 5-arm alloy wheels have been removed from the S-Line spec. Black Sprint cloth/leather upholstery, new 7-arm double spoke alloy wheels, S-Line part perforated multi-function steering wheel, front centre armrest and rear floor mats have been added.

The cost of the S-Line package is now £3400 on top of the standard A3 price for any particular model. The maximum price increase on any non S3 model is £100. For example the 2.0TFSI Sport 6-spd manual goes up by £20 from £20,525 to £20,545. The basic 1.6 stays at the same price of £14,200 and the 1.4 TFST and the 1.8TFSI both increase by £100 to £15,700 and £17,395 respectively. No price is given yet for the 2.0 TFST quattro. The new prices for the other Trim Level packages are SE - £650 and Sport - £1,850.

They are available to order now with delivery mid August.

I ordered my facelift S3 two weeks ago and have a build date of first week in August with delivery to the dealers 2-3 weeks after that so should be ready for a Sep 1st pickup.

man you got a build date already? I had my order changed on 18/4/08 and I still havent gotten one.

Got one straight away, you should get one immediately when Audi UK confirm the order from the dealer.

If you ordered on 18/4/08 I would not think it was a facelift version as they were only available to order from 26/05/08.

Oops got the date wrong, was 28th April (day after my birthday). The facelift version was open to order on the 28th April as I was one of the first going into the deal on the day to ask for the facelift version.

Got the info directly from the Audi internal use memo-

We will open for ordering on all models except 2.0 TDI (170PS) during the course of week 18 (w/c 28th
April).
In line with the start dates for the new generation A3 production, the end of production for all current models
(model year 2008) will be as follows:
• A3 and S3 (3dr) – end of week 22/08
• A3 Sportback – end of week 25/08

Parallel Park Assist - £725. Might be a worthy option to take over rear sensors?

Also I noticed Audi uk updated their A3 Cabriolet brochure on their website which includes most of the newer options available on the A3 such as Park assist mentioned above.

That para park assist prob won't work properly, remember the car on top gear that would not park itself. Have got front and rear sensors on my order as would rather park the car myself!

search on youtube VW Park Assist or Tiguan Park Assist. The system has been used on Tiguan for a while now, loads of vids on the internet showing it in action. The system actually works but it requires a 1.4m gap on top of the length of your car before it will auto park so yea, you might as well park yourself as its easier :D.

I am actually thinking of adding front sensors to my order but I m worried that the additional 4 sensors in the front bumper would ruin the front styling? Need pics to decide!

It didn't on the RS4 as they were standard.

You will prob find they will be the same style as that, only 2 on the actual paintwork of the car and the other 2 will be hidden around the numberplate in the grey plastic trim, not very noticable at all!
