I need to get hold of a single mass flywheel for my 1.8TQ to go with a Southbend clutch I bought.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I will appreciate it.

what about Southbend themselves? 10-12lb single mass lightweight wheels

any lightweight one is going to be pricey. especially if bought over here
all fidanza, southbend etc are around the $500 mark.
whats your budget?

I bought my whole clutch and flywheel kit from them, around ££350 delivered with the stage 3 setup. Also they mark it as a warrenty replacement, it helps with customs etc

This is gonna be one of my major purchases later in the year fellas so gonna keep an eye on this thread

V6 flywheel doesn't fit I4.

8-bolt fitting, as opposed to 6.

i'm getting an unorthodox flywheel to go with my stg4 southbend...They are pretty pricey.I'm getting one for 470 pounds. But it's the best of the best!

it will be monster heavy on a TDi

Hummmm just found out that some TDI have a Single Mass flywheel as stock and wandered if this would fit and be up to the job?

Will fit, but your engine won't run.

The crank sensor air gap's in a different place on a TDI.

Our crank sensor runs from the gear inside the engine mounted on the rear of the crank, so no worries about sensors.

I made enquires about some of the single mass conversions listed for A3's and TDi's etc some shops said they would work on an A4 and some said no. 100% the crank sensor poses no problem tho

surely it will be heavier? they run massive damper balancing units as well
