His books are laugh out loud funny, as is Top Gear.
 
I've no idea where/what the Limerick Link is (this is where he claims he did 186mph) but I bet its a shopping centre car park or cul-de-sac. The highest order ***** are the politicians and Road Safety gestapo who take these utterances seriously and call for Clarkson's head.

Making reference to the fact he got off with speeding in an Alfa (I think) because they didn't have a record of giving him the car.

my mate has recently started as a postie - incl afternoon collections he's grossing over £30k

I'm sure there's others out there

with respect to the years of study; they do train, assess and examine graduates - and if they do pass they are put on a probationary period
 
I'm sure the training must involve a course on how to speak "copperspeak" because they sure don't speak the way other humans do.

Instead of "You were driving your car too quickly down this road" its "You were observed traversing this autoexpressway in your vehicle at speeds which do not comply with regulations".

Or: "You have been detained by myself for a violation of Road and Traffic disorder for traversing the highway in your automobile vehicle whilst commencing a conversation on your mobile telecommunications handset"

Instead of:
"You're nicked."

My last experience with a cop was with si00adg, when we were driving around some town near the M3. The cops stoped us for questions.

Apparently quite a few have been nicked, and they were intrigued when they see 2 S3s just rounding about the area aimlessly. At least they were doing their job.

My bro-in-law was a postie for years, until about two years ago.
He didn't earn anywhere near that.
 
My Dad's next door neighbour is a postman and he eats soil he's that poor.

Must be serious overtime that.

NW London

His day consists of being at work at 5.30 am to throw off his letters, doing his round and a lunchtime van collection

goes home for lunch and a kip

back on the vans for the late afternoon collection, home for tea and medals at 6.30 pm

he says it's the easiest job he's ever done (bearing in mind he's the hardest grafter I know)
