Can you S3 owners check somthing for me?

Hi guys, im not going into details but ive had a crap time at Audi Harrogate with the steering racks..

Whilst in the chap (same guys has managed to **** up the following things)

1- Put the steering wheel back wonky (doh)
2- Managed to trap some trim in the engine, which made the most horrendous clattering!!
3- The gear lever now has huge play in it, not of the sloppy type, but it twists left to right as though somthing is loose. It may not be down to anything he's done but its wierd how I noticed to moment i picked my car up...

Now ive just noticed that the front fogs dont meet up with the black surrounds!! Im sure they used to sit tight up flush with the surrounds, now there is like a 3-5mm gap

Im sure they were flush before, can you guys pop out and have a quick check for me?? A few replies would be could so i can be conclusive..

Ive got no details mate, I think we just need to sort the hotel. We'll be setting of first thing on aug bank holiday, it may pay to book the friday off since were travelling from Leeds....

after both my steering rack replacements the car had to go back for the steering wheel to be realigned, you'd think it would be a fairly obvious thing - especially if yours is a flat bottom one
