Insurance and remap?

What has been everyones experience with this?
Typicaly what has been the premium loading?

In the past Ive just not told the insurance company.

(Not saying thats right btw, so please no legal/morality lectures!)

Yeah, it's always best to tell. Try Adrian Flux, 25 years old, 7 years no claims, couple of speeding tickets (no points though cos they were over 3 years ago) Audi S3 with GIAC 330 map, £990 a year fully comp + loads of extras and unlimited mileage.

Mine is with Audi, and cost 200 for the remap.

Mine is with Chris Knott, about hundred quid more than normal I think
