Hi guys, is there anywhere I can buy a tool and get the parts to re-crimp the screw head cable connector for my cable wiring at home? I had to move my office from one bedroom to another in the house, and had to yank the old connector off to pull the wire through the hole that was made by Telewest engineers at the bottom of the frames of the door. I've stuck it all back together, it's held together with insulation tape and it works, but I prefer a proper neat connector.

TIA

Maplins, im sure they do all those types of things, have a look on their site or pop in, im sure there is a store in Solihull

JO JO.
Use a pair of engineers pliers and a piece of wood. Drill a 2mm hole in the wood to clear the solid copper centre core. Hold pliers over plastic finisher and press down.
Have you some spare connectors?

Yeah, I thought about popping into Maplins, but thought I'd ask on here first.

It would be neater with a new connector, where can I buy some?
