Any questions/feedback feel free.

Thanks Nath

Very very nice nathan- but i do like a bit of space between arch and tyre. So that bit too low- shouldn't be a problem with coilovers though should it!

Nice mate! Pity its a 5 door :p joking!!

Get the rear debadged and maybe some german style pressed plates and optics front grill?

There is gap!

You've certainly turned a spec Audi into something better. Looks great.

Pat on the back there.:applaus:
Thanks lad. That was my aim, and I'm happy with it! Only a few bits to go!

Read my sig, debadged is next! Don't like the optics. Got the chrome grille to match roof bars and dishes

Yeah there is a little (will be sorting it though) its not massive problem. I don't know if others who have lowered have noticed it rubbing on the screw that holds the bumper on?

For me mate , it looks a tad too low at the rear , and maybe some spacers?

Nice tho mate.

p

mine caught a tiny bit on the screws that hold up the inner plastic arch. i changed screws to a smaller type and rubbing all now ok unless you hit a big dip at speed.

I like the overall look and the tints you have done a good job there especially in such a short time scale, I think it would look better if it sat slightly higher, being so low makes it almost appear as if its trying a little too hard but then again I am an old git.

Well done mate, a nice looking motor.

Just noticed the exhaust tips, is yours a 170tdi or have you added the jet style pipes as well ?

Its not too low, theres gap. Its sat the same as yours! Spacers :wtf: The wheel would be sticking out the arch. ET 42 in a 19" must be cutting it too fine :uhm:

Yeh, I'll be sorting mine after they've bedded in.

The worse thing is the springs are gonna settle! Nope I've got powerflow ones. Look nice don't they :icon_thumright: Autosol does the job

For YOU it's not too low , for me it is.

In the profile pic , the arch looks OVER the wheel.

If the arch is over the wheel , then there is room for spacers!

My car is not as low as that at the rear!

This is all in my opinion , if you don't like what you hear mate don't post pic's or ask for feedback!

If you like it great :applaus:

Okay. Fair enough Leon. When you see it. You'll know there is no need for spacers, and you can say what you like! :yahoo:

You know me mate , all along ive said i don't like my cars TOO low , and if i'm being picky my car is a couple of mill too low for me at the back!

It does look nice Nathan , good arrows!

I know you P, I know we've got different tastes! Could tell that when I met you! Thanks for your opinion, feedback and advice! Top Man! You gonna go to GTI International?

looks rubbish, you'd be better off getting rid of those horrid wheels .. I have space for them

actually it looks fooooookin ace :) good work

Looks good, nice height, definitely needs a spacer on the rear to give it proper stance, 19's are same as 18's, 17's etc with the right tyres on, every standard car can take a spacer!! :) Your car though so it's what suits you, looks nice as is

I was going to ask what the wheels were also?

Ok so I am going to buck the trend. It looks over wheeled, I am hoping it is just the angle of the pics and you will post up some new ones and prove me wrong.

One more quesation, I am guessing your quite young, and I am sure it has been mentioned before, why did you go with a sportback and not a 3 door?

j.

Marriedblonde, I am quite young (days away from my 25th) and chose the 3 door as coming from golfs and as with most cars 3 doors was always the way to look more sporty.
In a way I regret it now as I do think the sportback looks sportier and overall is a better shape.
Especially in an S-line shape, looks meaner than the 3 door!

Maybe mate!

p

Go-on! You now you want 2!!
actually it looks fooooookin ace :) good work

Cheers Steve!
Nice wheels - what are they?

TSW Kyalami - no longer available

a spacer will defo make it rub! You need to see it in real life really.

I'm 24 in a week. I do alot of travelling and have a dog. So having the extra doors just for pracitcality really. Plus I like the shape of the SB, if I got the 3 door and it'd have to be the S3, if I got the S3, i'd have to make it 400bhp! Which isn't good on your finances :icon_thumright:

Plus I wanted

1. 5 Door
2. DSG
3. Diesel as opposed to 3 door, Manual and Petrol! :icon_thumright:

Thanks J. Nath

Thought they were Kyalami's, my bro works for TSW/Yokohama and he had a set once, look good

If you ain't rubbin' you ain't dubbin'. doh, wrong site! Who cares if it rubs a bit, it will look the nuts, I ran 20mm on my golf with 8" rears and it was fine (after it rubbed half the inner arch away )

I think it looks a little low at the back (for my tastes) but the front is perfect! Niiice.

You have one good lookin' SB and some nice wheels too ;)

But I would lower the front 5mm more to make it perfect...

Wow! That looks sweet!:anbet: Get rid of the A3 and 2.0TDi badges on the back and it will be perfect. The wheels are great too, I've never been a big fan of multi-spoke wheels but they really suit the car, the polished rim is nice too... a little bit of bling but not too much.

Don't listen to the 'haterz' LOL The rear height is perfect. Low is always the way to go! People who don't do it are either just boring farts or can't financially justify it with, or get permission from, the wife (I wonder if anybody will rise to the intentional, tongue in cheek flame bait! :whistle2:) Mind you, I can't say much as my A4 is still sitting on its raised suspension!

I guess my photoshopping skills won't be required much these days! :(

Like nath said its more the angle of his drive thats making it look lower at the back. Seen the car today - well last nite seen as its now 3.30am and it looks well. Heres a quick pic I took and as you can see is not as low at the back when on level ground.

Yeh, like I said, I will sort the arches out after it settles!

They haven't settled yet Dennis, give em a chance!! :haha:

Ha Ha :applaus: It looks pretty much like the photoshop! Shades, I always need your skills matey! When my business gets rolling, you'll be on board! :)

Looks pretty cool, what coilovers did you go for?

I think it needs to go lower with some negative camber and spacers...but nobody will agree with me :D

I went for the KW V2s and H&R ARBs. the ET45 is very close to the arch on the front, maybe a small spacer on the back. Time will tell.

I hate negative camber, uneven tyre wear :sob:
